Aussie mining jobs scrapped by do-gooders to force Korean emission reductions

NSW’s Independent Planning Commission deserves to be sacked after it rejected a proposal for a new coal mine in the Bylong Valley partly because “it would increase greenhouse gas emissions in Korea”.

So who sits on this commission and what’s their background?

For starters its chairwoman, Ms Mary O’Kane AC is the former chairwoman of the Australian Centre for Renewable Energy.

And her seemingly “woke” commission colleagues boast CVs that have an abundance of words like “environment protection”, “biodiversity conservation”, “natural resource management” and “climate change” smattered through them.

Climate crackpot Tim Flannery appears almost sensible by comparison.

Enough said. Sack them.PC
