Bill Gates is targeting Africa for his next experiments.
Microsoft founder and liberal billionaire Bill Gates has spilled the beans on his recent meeting with Donald Trump.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Gates said that he and Trump had shared a three-hour long dinner where they discussed “global health” and Gates’ interest in developing more vaccines.
He explained
I had a chance to go have a long and actually quite intriguing dinner with himWe touched on a lot of things. It was over three hours. To my surprise, it was, you know, just he and I, his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, and the person who helps manage things for me, Larry Cohen.
So the four of us sat there and it was quite wide-ranging. You know, global health’s the area that I work in, and such amazing things have happened and can happen there.
I spoke a lot about HIV and that the foundation’s literally working on a cure for that. We’re at an early stage, and so, you know, he, in the COVID days, accelerated the vaccine innovation.
So I, you know, was asking him if maybe the same kind of thing could be done here, and we both got, I think, pretty excited about that. We talked about polio, where, you know, we’re very close to getting that done, but if you stop, it’ll spread back.
And so I explained why it’s been tough in Pakistan, Afghanistan. We’ve had cases show up in Gaza. We have cases in Africa. He was fascinated to hear what he could do to maximize the chance that during the next four years, that incredible milestone will be achieved.
I felt like he was, you know, energized and, you know, looking forward to helping to drive innovation. You know, I was frankly impressed with how well he showed a lot of interest in the issues I brought up.

Details of the dinner emerged just weeks after Trump made a cryptic post on Truth Social announcing that Gates had requested a meeting with him at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
“Where are you? When are you coming to the ‘Center of the Universe,’ Mar-a-Lago? Bill Gates asked to come, tonight,” Trump wrote at the time.
“We miss you and x! New Year’s Eve is going to be AMAZING!!! DJT.”
It is unclear whether he voiced his likely opposition to Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is a prominent critic of Gates and his obsession with vaccines and other supposed solutions to improving life on earth.
While he did not make specific pronouncements about the election, Gates quietly funded Kamala Harris to the tune of $50 million.
“I support candidates who demonstrate a clear commitment to improving health care, reducing poverty, and fighting climate change in the U.S. and around the world,” Gates told The New York Times at the time.
“I have a long history of working with leaders across the political spectrum, but this election is different, with unprecedented significance for Americans and the most vulnerable people around the world.”
