PM tells ‘woke’ media to wake up

PRIME Minister Scott Morrison blasted journalists yesterday telling them to “get with it” after a blatant attempt to wedge him in a race baiting storm.

Australia’s mainstream media, which has been obsessed with 10th order issues since the invention of Twitter, provoked a furious lecture from the Prime Minister.

At a press conference to discuss economic recovery plans a journalist asked Morrison if he was concerned about the world’s highest grossing film Gone With The Wind being banned because of its portrayal of black slavery.

FORGOTTEN

Any “yes or no” response from the PM would have provoked a storm – the affirmative would have given further impetus to black protests while a simple “no” would have aligned him with woke media types, making him appear foolish among voters.

Morrison, instead, chose to show up the foolishness of the media.

After being asked: “A modern extension of this issue we are seeing of cancel culture, with Gone With The Wind, Chris Lilley’s projects for example being pulled from streaming services, is that something you’re worried about?”

In response the Prime Minister shook his head saying he had no interest in what’s being shown on streaming services.

“I’m worried about jobs, I’m worried about 800,000 Australians going onto JobSeeker in the last three months,” he said.

“I’m not interested is what they are showing on streaming services. I’m interested in getting Australians back into work.

“I’m not interested in the debate about what people want to tear down, I’m interested in what people want to build up and what we need to build back up are businesses and jobs and we need to restore livelihoods and lives.

“Honesty people, let’s focus on what’s really happening –  800,000 extra people are on JobSeeker in the last few months!

“Do you want to know where my focus is? On them, and the businesses that have closed and the livelihoods that have been destroyed.

DISTRACTED

Lilley’s Jonah.

“What you’re watching on television is your business. It’s not going to create one job. Let’s focus on where Australians are hurting today and they really are hurting and I will not be distracted.”

The question arose after streaming services removed Chris Lilley and Gone With The Wind from their programming.

Gone With The Wind was criticised for portraying the relationship between plantation owners and black slaves as too affable. While Chris Lilley’s most beloved character Jonah, a Pacific islander, requires him to darken his face and hair, which is now considered by the Left as being a form of racism.

Australia’s mainstream media continues to follow the US’s lead by increasingly chasing mindless sensationalism – regardless of the resulting damage to the nation’s social fabric or economy.

Morrison is the first Australian Prime Minster to publicly and harshly push back against social media-led journalism.PC

  1. In 1833 Britain spent about 40% of its national budget to buy freedom for every slave in its then empire, and finally paid off the debt accrued in 2015. We have also heard so much from Green, Labor and Liberal wokes about how terrible and racist we are, despite massive expenditures and efforts made to help aborigines for many years, and most migrants of all colours and creeds being so readily accepted by most Australians. It’s the Wokes who seek to enslave us by denying us any freedom of expression outside the confines of their revisionist, nonsensical, mandated dictates as to what we must all think, do and say. They seek to rewrite history in a fantasy form, and to deny reality, which is very dangerous. We fail to stand up to this lunatic minority at our own peril. Already they are taking over councils, denying us Australia Day, and have penetrated the education system far enough to put our children’s and grandchildren’s future prospects in peril. If we love our country, if we want to be able to generate enough wealth to be able to afford a social security net to protect our weaker bretheren, and if we want to be able to enjoy decent living standards, then we must call them out and see them off. Those who went along with Hitler and Stalin likewise paid dearly in the long run, and those are the sorts of regimes that the Wokes will eventually impose upon us.

  2. The great majority of thinking Aussies have full confidence in our astute, honest and prodigiously hard-working Prime Minister.

Our economy has been ruined by the massive over-reaction to the Covid health crisis, but remember, – every decision was made by the bi-partisan ‘National Cabinet’ who were wrongly informed by the devastating numbers of weird computer modelling.

Our Continent is sparsely populated and with further access to water, Australia can – and must, continue to grow her population and her wealth.

Therefore, when our economy picks up and – being fully cognisant of the fact that our birth numbers have been rapidly decreasing for some time, – we MUST resume an immigration programme with a numerical target that can be proven to be sustainable and beneficial.

    1. “Australia can – and must, continue to grow her population and her wealth.”

Firstly, one does not “grow” a population, a population grows.

Secondly, you conflate increased wealth with a bigger population, what matters is not total GDP but per-capita GDP.

“The great majority of thinking Aussies have full confidence in our astute, honest and prodigiously hard-working Prime Minister.”

Morrison is an ignorant, ill-educated bogan, and the only reason he’s keeping the seat warm is because he is seen as a compromise between left and right factions. (That’s why he presents as so spineless; he’s not actually meant to be doing anything beyond keeping the plebs calm whilst the country is sold out from under their feet).

You keep voting Liberal, though, if it makes you feel better.

  3. “I’m worried about jobs, I’m worried about 800,000 Australians going onto JobSeeker in the last three months,” […]

    Morrison is lying.

What he’s worried about is ensuring that our eye-watering levels of immigration continue, in order to both drive down labour costs for transnational corporations and water down our sense of national identity (thereby facilitating our incorporation into the “new world order”).

Why else would he have an immigration minister who supports a “bigger Australia”? Maybe no one has told Scotty that over 65% of Australians think that we need to rein in immigration – or maybe that’s something that he simply doesn’t care to hear.

Members of the Liberal party are being duped – they give of their time and money in the quite reasonable expectation of seeing a conservative government ascend to power, and what they end up with are mendacious mealy-mouthed mediocrities (also known as “moderates”).
