President Donald Trump shook up markets this week with his announcement of global reciprocal tariffs. Over 70 world leaders calle the president this week to curry favor, Trump stated, paving the way for a global rest of trade policies that Trump claims have disadvantaged US workers for years.

While many European center-left politicians were outraged and vowed retribution, conservative leaders like Javier Milei, Viktor Orban, and Benjamin Netanyahu have signaled their cooperation and found an open ear with President Trump. Writing for Gateway Pundit, leading German-Chilean conservative Sven von Storch explains why Trump’s policies can “end the globalist empire’s monetary and financial monopoly”:

With US President Donald Trump’s re-election in 2024, he has received a mandate and carte blanche from US voters to reorganize and shape politics. Having taken office just over two months ago, President Trump is now beginning to implement this mandate internationally with his tariff policy as a first step.

With his tariff policy, President Trump is beginning to end the globalist economic model. With his tariff policy, Trump is paving the way for an economic model that will restore nation-states to their economic sovereignty and prosperity.

Trump doesn’t just want short-term economic reforms or a short-term increase in the US’s economic efficiency. He is ending one world order and beginning a new one.

Trump is the visible face of a new, alternative, civilizational politics. And this civilizational alternative politics has now begun to have an international impact.

Trump wants to make the USA sovereign again from globalist institutions and actors, just as the Founding Fathers of the USA, George Washington, and Alexander Hamilton, once sought to do when the USA gained independence from the British Empire in 1776.

Just as George Washington and Alexander Hamilton made the USA independent and free from the British pound and British banks, i.e., from the monetary and financial system of the British Empire, Donald Trump now wants to free the USA from the global monetary and financial system, from the globalist empire.

Trump first began with DOGE to purge the USA of corrupt domestic structures in politics, economics, and security. Trump has begun to defend the USA from its internal enemies, which, as DOGE’s educational work has shown, have plundered and impoverished the USA and its citizens over the past decades.

Trump wants to save the USA by ending the Deep State. These are the corrupt domestic structures that serve the globalist empire at the expense of US citizens.

Trump wants to restore a new world order based on nation-state sovereignty, as well as end the globalist empire’s monetary and financial monopoly and create an alternative. His tariff policy was his first international move toward this goal. This is just the beginning.
