THE Supreme Court has refused to hear a Texas lawsuit claiming voter fraud, effectively ending President Donald Trump’s bid to overturn the 2020 election result through the US’s highest court. The case, which had formal backing from at least 19 other States, was filed on December 8 claiming Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin had conducted unconstitutional presidential elections.

THE USA’s highest court has ordered that four battleground States respond to allegations of running an unconstitutional presidential election. Legal action brought by the State of Texas against Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin has been docketed by the Supreme Court, giving them until 7am Friday, December 11 (AEST), to respond.
