FORMER Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott concedes losing his seat of Warringah after the May 2019 Federal Election. Against all expectations, his Liberal Party went on to win the election pushing Labor into a third term in opposition.
Labor had branded the national poll as the climate change election and campaigned on crazy mad and un-costed “environmental” policies.
Mr Abbott’s concession speech was broadcast live on all networks – including the overjoyed national broadcaster, who dropped the first half of his speech up to where he thanked his family.PC
