President Trump publicly shames Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan to his face for debanking conservatives.
President Donald Trump stunned the room into silence at a recent World Economic Forum (WEF) summit when he publicly confronted Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan over political bias against conservatives.
Trump called out the banking giant, accusing it of denying services to conservatives.
“And by the way,” Trump said, pointing directly at Moynihan, “speaking of you, and you’ve done a fantastic job, but I hope you start opening your bank to Conservatives.”
“Many Conservatives complain that the banks are not allowing them to do business within the bank. And that included a place called Bank of America.”
“They don’t take Conservatives’ business. And I don’t know if the regulators mandated that because of Biden or what, but you and [Jamie Dimon] and everybody, I hope you’re going to open your banks to Conservatives because what you’re doing is wrong.”
The room fell into an awkward silence as Moynihan, clearly caught off guard, scrambled for a response. Instead of addressing the serious accusation head-on, Moynihan attempted to shift the conversation, awkwardly replying:
“Mr. President, I’ll say that your friend Gianni said hello, told me to tell you hello, and we look forward to sponsoring the World Cup when it comes both this summer for the club and next year. So thank you for getting that for the United States.”

Shortly after Trump’s bombshell remarks and shaming the CEO, Bank of America rushed to do damage control, releasing a statement denying any political bias.
“Bank of America serves more than 70 million clients and we welcome conservatives. We would never close accounts for political reasons and don’t have a political litmus test.”

But conservatives aren’t buying it.
Last year, a coalition of fifteen Republican attorneys general sent a scathing letter to Moynihan, accusing the banking giant of “de-banking” individuals based on their religious and political beliefs. The letter called out Bank of America for its apparent pattern of discrimination.
“Your discriminatory behavior is a serious threat to free speech and religious freedom, is potentially illegal, and is causing political and regulatory backlash,” the letter sent Monday states. “Your bank needs to be transparent with and assure us, its shareholders, and others that it will not continue to de-bank customers for their speech or religious exercise,” the AGs wrote.
Also, Eastman, who was disbarred by a left-wing judge in California over his efforts to expose massive fraud that marred the 2020 presidential election, had bank accounts with Bank of America and USAA closed without warning.
Both of these accounts are federally insured and received massive taxpayer bailouts during the 2008 financial crisis. Yet despite their links to the federal government, Eastman revealed that both of his accounts were closed within the space of two months.
“We had Bank of America accounts for about 40 years. But just because of their wokeness we kind of quit a couple of years ago, using them much. They’ve got physical locations and therefore easy ATM, so we kept our accounts there, but we didn’t use much. And about four or five years ago, we opened USAA bank accounts and we were using those as our primaries,” Eastman said.
LISTEN: Bank of America tells John Eastman, in a recording obtained by @DailyCaller, that they will not tell him why his bank account was shut down without warning.

Independent journalist Christina Urso, known professionally as Radix Verum, has reported that Bank of America abruptly terminated her bank account.
Urso, who has been critical in her reporting on various issues including the FBI’s involvement in the Governor Whitmer kidnapping case, took to social media platform X to voice her concerns and frustrations.
“So Bank of America has decided to ‘terminate’ their business relationship with me. Their ‘risk department’ made this determination for literally no reason. I have been with them for years. This is clearly because of my documentary and my critical reporting.
“They won’t tell me why. They won’t allow me access to my bank account or to the funds. They are telling me I will get a ‘check in the mail’ but they won’t say when I can expect it. I am traveling at the end of this month for my documentary. Now I have no funds.”
Gen. Mike Flynn also shared his experience with the tyrannical bank.
“This is total bullshit. My wife and I lost our accounts with the Bank of Un-America. In nearly 30 years, never missed a mortgage payment, near perfect credit score, always paid my bills…they dropped us without warning. Strongest recommendation, dump them and use a credit union instead,” Flynn wrote on X.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Bannon’s War Room also shared her experience.
“I went back and found my texts to Steve when Bank of America closed my account. They notified me on a Mon it would be closed by that Wed and wouldn’t even let me access my money, saying they’d send it by check. I totally forgot how crazy it was!!” she wrote.

Senator Mike Lee of Utah has issued a strong warning to Bank of America, suggesting the possibility of a deposition regarding the bank’s recent claims.
“I’d love to watch any deposition or congressional hearing in which Bank of America tries to defend this statement claiming “we welcome conservatives” and “we would never close accounts for political reasons.” Could you defend that statement? Can Bank of America?”
