Calls for resistance as Gladys loses plot

THERE’s a sniff in the air, what with Gladys clearly jumping the shark with the latest NSW lockdown extension and the promise of a “plan”.

For plan, read vaccine passports and endless restrictions upon freedom in the face of – two alleged deaths with/from COVID and its alleged variants.

The anti-lockdown movement is broad-based and not confined to traditional political fissures.…

A growing number of thoughtful people have clearly had enough of the COVID deceit.

One straw in the wind is the fierce reaction of two classes of informed and perceptive observers, namely the listeners to 2GB’s Ben Fordham and readers of The Australian newspaper.

UGGLY

It is getting ugly for the so-called keepers of liberalism who inhabit the Treasury benches in Macquarie Street.

The political class is not listening. It is time to up the ante. Beyond time, really.

What are the resources available? There are a number of political parties hovering on the fringes, each of which has its adherents but who, acting individually on a range of hot-button issues, achieves little when the major parties in Australia have either swallowed the COVID kool-aid or who, for a range of reasons, choose to prosecute the case for health totalitarianism.

Who are they?

There is Australia One, the Family Party, One Nation, the Federation Party, Craig Kelly and a cluster of Liberal dissidents sitting powerless on the backbenches, awaiting their exits from politics.

And then there is Barnaby. A resource with potential power to change things. None of these potential forces against lockdown culture and the COVID State has grasped the need or the political opportunity.

Advance Australia is missing in action in regard to COVID fascism. If only the newly supine libertarians so engaged over 18c could recognise the massive crisis that we now face in relation to our basic freedoms.

There is no formal Australian equivalent of Britain’s Reclaim Party launched by Laurence Fox. More’s the pity.

The anti-lockdown movement is broad-based and not confined to traditional political fissures. There is a group in the UK called Left Lockdown Sceptics. Socialists against health oppression.

TOTALITARIAN

They are champions for personal freedom. We should engage them. There is a massive opening here to achieve change to the current totalitarian direction of travel.

There is no need for a new political party, as much as I might like to start one. We already have the resources to tap into the growing popular, under-the-radar resistance.

The signs are emerging. Literally. The signs are going up, and are generally ripped down, in local communities. Sane observers who have contributed to the Planet Lockdown documentary suggest that the clock is ticking for the end of liberal democracy.

Generation Deliveroo in Australia, comforted by working from home, furlough, Zoom meetings, QR code techno-trendiness and the occasional lockdown, is a barrier to resistance by those of us who value liberty.

18c was, indeed, arcane and beyond the understanding of the low information voter. Equally not understood by the Dear leader. This crisis is much, much worse.

It deserves our collective attention, and appropriate political action.

The very least that the disparate grumps might achieve is to start conversations among the COVID dissidents who, if only they decided to collaborate and use twenty-first century methods to achieve change, could achieve much.

They just might save liberal democracy.PC

  1. I’ll be voting One Nation. Pauline is the only one showing some spine. Gladys is a traitor to her country and will be dealt with when the time comes. Thousands will die soon from the gene therapy and that woman is officially responsible. She won’t be able to hide behind “I didn’t know” as there is ample information she has been given. Nuremburg anybody ?

  2. The only way for The Nationals to really pick up votes is for them to end the coalition and stand as an independent party and sell themselves as the party FOR personal and civil freedoms and rights. Get rid of ANY sitting members who don’t and replace them. If not, Barnaby or not, The Nationals are just the Liberals poodles.

    1. “The only way for The Nationals [is to] sell themselves”.

They already figured out that they needed to sell themselves, and that’s exactly what they’ve done: they’ve sold themselves to the socialist vultures who infest the “conservative” side of politics – they’ve sold themselves like a cheap whore who allows herself to be used and abused because she has been stripped of self-respect and any shred of dignity. They are, like the “Liberals”, nothing more than cynical opportunists who are entirely motivated by self-preservation and the desire to enrich themselves, and they have long since abandoned even the pretence of serving their constituents or this country.

The writing is on the wall regarding the terminal state of big party conservative politics in this country, but a surprising number of voters are still having a very hard time reading it.

      1. it would be good if you knew a little of what you espouse. Otherwise such useless diatribe is not worthy of response.
