PRO-monarchy Australians are withdrawing their allegiance following Prince Charles’ “inappropriate” support for a communist-inspired global movement.
The movement known as The Great Reset, which advocates communal property ownership – and promotes equality of outcome above equality of opportunity – is being promoted by the Prince on behalf of the World Economic Forum.
Describing it as “kooky”, Australian Federal Senator Matt Canavan said the movement was pushing for “one global order”.
HAPPIER
“You’ll own no property and you’ll be happier, apparently,” Mr Canavan said.
“I think we’ve seen a push back against the globalisation order in the past few years,” he said.
Addressing Charles’ actions, the National Chair of the Australian Monarchists League Philip Benwell said on Monday it was “not appropriate for the Prince of Wales to be making comments of a political nature”.
He said he had received complaints from members – some resigning and others saying they would join the republican movement.
The World Economic Forum is a private organisation involving some 3000 business leaders, politicians, economists, celebrities and journalists who gather at an annual conference in Davos, Switzerland as well as other meetings around the world.
WRONG
Its stated objectives are “to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic & other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas”.
“On the surface it appears that the Prince of Wales did nothing wrong in appearing on a World Economic Forum platform,” Mr Benwell said.
“But given how close he is to the throne, I do not believe it is appropriate for him to continue to make comments which can be considered to be of a political nature,” he said.
“Whether it is about ‘The Great Reset’ or about other such matters as processes to counter climate change.
“Such comments are within the purview of elected politicians not the monarch or the monarch to be.”
PRO-REPUBLICAN
Mr Benwell said he would be communicating his position directly to Prince Charles and he urged others to do likewise.
He said this would be a more effective response than joining a pro-republican movement.
“Believe me, we will all be far, far worse off with a political president,” he said.
“Currently, you are able to make your concerns known direct to any politician or even to any member of the Royal Family, including the Prince of Wales.
“It is your unalienable right. Will this eventually be the case under a politicians’ republic?”
Mr Benwell issued a full statement to members of Australian Monarchists League earlier this week providing the Prince’s contact address details.PC
Great article by Nick Bury – says it all really!
Australia has so much to gain from having the Queen as our Constitutional Monarch -(one who NEVER interferes but takes a lively interest in us) – and from being a member of the Commonwealth.
I’d only take issue with Nick’s ‘inbreeding’ comment. Nick- they are hardly the Habsburgs! A quick Bing search will show that the Phillip and Elizabeth connections are distant – third cousins through Queen Victoria’s line and second cousins once removed through King Christian IX of Denmark.
The Queen’s Mother brought in new blood as did the Greek grandmother of Phillip and of course, a few generations back, the German House of Hannover started a completely new line. Quite fascinating.
However, yes, we definitely must promote William and Kate.
I’m centre-right on all matters – except when it comes to the monarchy-republic debate where I’m very much pro-republic. I was born in the UK and support the monarchial system there but it’s plainly ridiculous to have a foreigner as head of state in Australia – especially a moron like Charles. God forbid he will ever be our head of state. Frankly, I don’t think William would be much better – they’re all caught up in the Woke Movement except for dear old Liz who must hate the direction the world is heading as much as we do. There is no reason why we can’t find suitable republican presidents – we’ve done well with GGs over the years.
A hereditary based order such as the British Royal family will of course occasionally produce a dud, especially when there has been intermittent long term inbreeding. Charles’s uncle the Duke of Windsor was likewise afflicted with poor judgement, even wanting to support the Nazis, but he abdicated before the then British Government was obliged to take action against him.
The ready made solution is to amend the Act of Succession so that William and Kate could alternatively succeed the Queen, as they cut the mustard very well, and could advance Australia’s national interest. The Queen of course knows that Charles isn’t up to it, she loves the Commonwealth (her life’s work), and she’s already delegating difficult tasks to William and Kate, but she is hamstrung by this subject act.
The British Commonwealth, when led by competent functionaries like the Queen and her parents, has been of great ongoing benefit to Australia, so our self interest together with those of other member countries, dictates that we make overtures to the British Government to amend the subject act, otherwise our only other recourse would be to go our own way, as Charles’s utterances have ceased to be tolerable. No pleasure would be derived from his humiliation at all, but the public interest must prevail.
A re-vamped post Brexit British Commonwealth trade bloc could considerably enrich us, we need its resultant defence ties together with those of the US to help counter the China threat, and when the Royals are harbingers of good standards, they strengthen our society, as evidenced by the King’s and Queen’s deportment during the war, when the western world’s survival hung in the balance in 1940.
prince Charles has always ways shown a naive understanding of politics
And is completely out of touch with what his subjects are interest in.
I recall some time ago that he stated that he wanted to be not the leader of Christianity, but of All
Religions.
Excuse me, but what a wanker.
He should concentrate on the duties of the royal family and what it means to the British people.
As his mother has done, much to the popularity of the royal family and strengthen the influence they have in the world.
utch
Yet another nail in the royal coffin. With this fruitcake becoming king, it will be all over. Republicans only have to sit and bide their time..
Charles is an unfortunate name for kings in Britain. They have a record of losing their heads.
The Royals are supposed to keep out of political dabbling- he has been out of line. Really, he must step down- we cannot have ( another traitor Monarch.) supporting the one world government line is essentially throwing away the Sovereignty of the nation!
HRH Charles should think through the details of the Great Reset before supporting it – “you’ll own no property but you’ll be happier” when the great unwashed move into his various mansions, castles and country estates – will HRH “be happier”?
If only Charles could start behaving himself. The Queen and Prince William need to sit him down and tell him what for. His activism is the single biggest threat to Australia’s constitution.
Charles has become an absolute joke, an embarrassing puppet of an extremely sinister movement!
The crown must pass straight to Prince William -although William should stop lecturing on the climate and stop bowing and scraping to the dangerous oligarchs who would flood the world with their unreliable, expensive and mostly ineffective renewables!
The question needs to be asked why are world leaders setting their countries up to be bankrupt? I believe there is a lot more that was discussed at the DAVOS convention that needs to be highlighted to the world.
To show his support for the World Economic Forum and its policies, Prince Charles has moved out of the Palace and is now living in a one bedroom flat in Croydon. He will be leaving the UK before Christmas to ride a push bike to Switzerland. The suits are gone, Jeremy Corbyn is now his dress advisor.
Her majesty wont stand down because of this fruitcake. All hell will be set lose when she passes..
