Clueless Albo urges King to back net-zero

PRIME Minister Anthony Albanese has urged Charles III to break royal protocol and fully engage in contentious political issues.

In a train wreck interview with UK public broadcaster BBC shortly after Charles’ accession, Mr Albanese said the new King’s views on “climate change” would be welcome. [see video clip below]

Mr Albanese’s comments have been called “grovelling”, “hypocritical”, “thick” and “nothing more than disgraceful, immature blabbering”.

“It’s important that the sovereign stay distant from Party political issues,” he said in a sit-down with BBC World News on September 18.

“But from my perspective and what I said [to Charles], I’d be very comfortable with the King expressing views about the importance of climate change.

“It is about the very survival of our way of life.”

FUNERAL

Mr Albanese made the remarks in London, where he was attending the funeral of Elizabeth II who passed on September 8.

Her eldest son and successor, Charles’ accession was publicly declared on September 10.

Mr Albanese’s comments have been called “immature blabbering”, “grovelling”, “hypocritical” and “thick”.

An Australian who was visiting Britain when Mr Albanese’s interview aired said it was a disgraceful effort by the Prime Minister.

“I saw it on the BBC this last weekend,” Sydney resident Mr Bob Partington said.

“It was nothing more than disgraceful, immature blabbering by an incompetent Albanese.”

Social media commenters were equally scathing of Mr Albanese’s ignorance.

OPPORTUNIST

“Oh my God, he’s so thick,” Luana Goriss wrote. “He’s such a groveller,” said Alice Bennett. While Rod Stillwell described Mr Albanese as a hypocritical opportunist.

“Just as a matter of principle,” Mr Stillwell wrote, “would he be okay with King Charles expressing his views if they were completely opposed to his?

“He just doesn’t get the roles. Neither his own nor Charles’.”

Kim Macca wrote: “Albo gets it alright. He will milk this for everything he can.

“Just watch him twist the language when back home – ‘King Charles supports action on climate change’.

“A bloody hypocrite, he is.”

Meanwhile, senior climate scientists have revealed that no evidence whatsoever exists to support wild claims of a pending global crisis.

A peer-reviewed study published earlier this year in The European Physical Journal Plus has found that not a single physical metric can be found – outside of computer modelling – that suggests a global climate emergency.

Authored by scholars from the universities of Milan, Verona and Padua in Italy, their report concludes “the climate crisis that, according to many sources, we are experiencing today, is not yet evident”.PC

A bloody hypocrite…

  1. If Charles is smart, he will stay out of politics altogether…. otherwise he and the monarchy will head the way of the dodo

  2. It seems being conservative has become a dirty word for Labor, Greens and half the LNP! The Liberal half maybe? Conservatives who value their link to straight thinking and commonsense are being devalued by those who want everything for free and will lie through their teeth to get it, and some exceptions are ruining this nation with their lies and inuendos! UAP, One Nation DLP are trying to toe the straight line, but with a corrupt and lying media and governments against them all and the people are letting them and in some cases aiding them 🙁

  3. Don’t think you will have a big problem Albo, believe Charles has millions invested in renewables?

A clear example of cognitive dissonance (thanks you Dr Kevin Donnelly) – and of course hypocracy. Since when did Albo think that Climate change was not a political issue (let alone financial).

And it is not just that Albo is cluelesson this topic, it is also King Charles III who has had his head twisted by Attenborough D and a 16 year old.

  5. Worrying development, the heir in line to become the next King appointed Labour Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinta Ardern to stand in for him at a climate conference while she was in the UK for the funeral of his Grandmother.

  6. The list of misleading allegations and general character assassination commentary directed at former PM Morrison by the Albanese led Union Labor opposition is long, even blame for what are State areas of responsibility, natural disaster handling, bushfires and floods for example.

    On the other hand Sky News reported during the May 2022 election campaign;

“Anthony Albanese has been grilled over his attempts to link himself with the Hawke Government despite his public opposition to Labor’s 1980s economic reforms.

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese is “haunted by the ghosts” of day one of the election campaign as he defended his employment history. It comes after Mr Albanese on Tuesday referred to a past “economic adviser” role to the Hawke government as an attempt to…
Anthony Albanese has been forced to defend his comments claiming he was an economic advisor to the Hawke Government as questions swirl around the Labor leader’s policy credentials.
Mr Albanese tried to link himself with the widely popular economic reforms under Bob Hawke in the 1980s on Tuesday as he attempted to move away from his blunder over the cash and unemployment rates.

Arguing that he was suitably equipped to handle the budget and Australia’s soaring debt, Mr Albanese pointed to his economics degree from the University of Sydney before becoming an “economic policy advisor” to Mr Hawke.

While the current Labor leader did join the Hawke Government 1985, his official parliamentary biography showed he worked as a research officer for Tom Uren until 1989.”

I have never understood why the Liberal Party does not do much more to defend their leaders against Labor smears.

  7. …just imagine for a moment…if PM Albanese does not understand the role of the Monarch….how the hell can he speak with any credibility of the possibility of Australia becoming a republic. It seems that he (Albo) just sees the head of state as just another level of his imcompetent, immature Labor government. And to think that he wants to trust him with an ill-defined referendum on an indigenous voice to parliament!!
You’re in the big league now Albo…grow up!

LOL; if you can’t turn Australia into a republic, try and turn the King into a president.

What a complete and utter bogan Albanese is.
