President Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.”
It is part of over 200 executive actions that Trump will reportedly sign today at the Capital One Arena!
According to The Free Press, this order will establish a government-wide policy that affirms the biological reality of two sexes: male and female.
The executive order includes the following major provisions via FP:
An incoming White House official stated, “What we’re doing today is defining that it is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes: male and female. These are sexes that are not changeable, and they are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality.”
The executive order also directs the Department of Health and Human Services to ensure that federal funding is not utilized to promote “gender ideology,” effectively prohibiting the allocation of federal funds for gender transition procedures.
Additionally, the order impacts federal prison policies by instructing the Bureau of Prisons to house inmates according to their biological sex, a move that may lead to the relocation of transgender inmates.
The policy also seeks to prevent individuals from changing their sex designation on U.S. passports, which previously allowed for male, female, or “X” markers.
This action aligns with President Trump’s campaign promises to address issues related to gender identity. During his campaign, he pledged to “stop the transgender lunacy” and make it official U.S. policy that there are only two genders.
