Self-quarantine exposes forbidden friendships

WHEN a Liberal Senator is diagnosed with Coronavirus you’d expect the politicians he’s been associating with to self-isolate.

What you don’t expect is for each and every one of them to be from opposition Parties.

While the health and wellbeing of all pollies is a priority, it’s always interesting to see who’s been hanging with who.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER

After NSW Federal Senator Andrew Bragg was diagnosed with COVID-19 a few days ago it was reported that three other federal senators had been forced into isolation after spending time with him.

They were Labor senators Jenny McAllister and Tony Sheldon as well as Centre Alliance senator Rex Patrick.

Liberal Party politicians must be thankful Bragg doesn’t hang with them too often.

To be fair, Bragg has a strong resemblance to Melbourne Greens MP Adam Bandt, so it’s possible the Left-leaning senators had a dose of mistaken identity when they sidled up to him.PC
