PRO-choice Queensland Premier Annastacia Palasczcuk refused all choice for a young northern NSW couple – with her border closure denying life-saving care for their unborn twins. One of the twins, a girl, died after the couple were diverted to a Sydney hospital instead of nearby Brisbane Mater Hospital.
TOO many politicians seemingly embrace the moral low ground with almost every ethical decision laid before them. Whether its sexualising pre-teens in the classroom, giving the nod to late term abortions, watering down bestiality laws or allowing HIV-infected people to “hide” their condition from bed partners – they almost always manage to defile themselves.
SUCH is Australia’s success that politicians boast about their performance and citizens are regularly congratulated for their obedience in conforming to government dictates, including shutting down businesses and closing schools. But not all are happy.
