IF CONFIRMATION were needed of a determination to ensure US elections are conducted in egregious breach of the Constitution and as fraudulently as many believe the recent presidential election was, ramming the For the People Act of 2021, HR1, through the House of Representatives fits the bill.
MY ASSESSMENT of Donald Trump, confirmed by his superb CPAC speech, attracted a version of the elites’ current default critical race theory response: “You racist jerk”. Racist? In my youth, the front-page banner on the nation’s leading journal demanded “Australia For The White Man”. I would often be reminded of my origin even by adult strangers.
ANY fair minded, objective juror would agree that Donald Trump was never guilty of the high crime for which he was so improperly charged. Having achieved more than any other president, at least since Ronald Reagan, there is a widespread hope in the hearts of millions that for the sake of America and of the free world, his best political days are indeed yet to come.
“A YEAR after coronavirus emerged in Wuhan, China’s Xi declares 2020 a triumph.” The Washington Post thus approvingly headlined the Communist Chinese dictator’s New Year Address to celebrating crowds ignoring social distancing in the streets of Wuhan, the very place from where Xi released a plague onto an unsuspecting world.
IN THE fallout from the November 3 US Presidential Election, numerous credible allegations of voting irregularities have arisen in the form of sworn affidavits and other evidence. The current allegations of voter fraud come after four years of efforts to oust President Donald Trump from office, first through the false Russia collusion narrative, then though impeachment.
DEMOCRATIC presidential candidate Joe Biden has been crowned president-elect by a handful of self-appointed news networks – but not by anyone who actually matters. Officially, he is not president-elect. A number of world leaders – Prime Minister Scott Morrison included – were premature in phoning him.
IT IS no exaggeration to conclude that humanity is approaching a crucial turning point, with one path leading us further into the light, the other into the darkness. At times such as this, providence may well ensure that a leader emerges, one who saves a civilisation from collapsing into an age of barbarism.
A US Supreme Court justice has ordered late arriving ballots in election battleground Pennsylvania to be segregated and removed from the official count as Republican scrutineers continue to be locked out of counting centres. In related events, a US postal worker has testified he was instructed to backdate late arriving postal ballots, US election staff have been captured on video tampering with or discarding ballots and “faulty” election software used in as many as 30 States has “switched” thousands of Trump votes to Biden’s tally.
IT WAS all going to plan for the Republican Party. Enthusiasm had peaked and the predicted red wave struck like a thunder clap. Every toss-up State bar one – Arizona – had swung heavily to Trump. It was almost mind numbingly efficient. With up to 96 per cent of toss-up States’ vote counted and Trump in the lead by anywhere from 150k to 600k votes, the result would be a blow out.
AUSTRALIA’S elites would prefer Beijing’s candidate, Joe Biden in the White House, it seems. But, unlike 2016, at least a few notable commentators here now favour Trump, however grudgingly. Yet local outlets still echo the American mainstream media, even though they have become the Democratic Party’s propaganda arm. Little wonder then that Biden’s campaign manager admits most media polling is fake.
