Shocking footage shows the bombing recorded by the attacker.
We have been reporting here on TGP about the astonishing case of the backpack bombing that targeted Ukrainian dissident oligarch Vadim Ermolaev and his family.
It was the first terrorist bombing in Monaco’s history.
We reported on how a Ukrainian woman responsible for the bombing was found dead on the outskirts of Kiev, and how Ukraine wants to portray the attack as the unsanctioned work of ‘lone wolves’ from its intelligence services.
But we also reported on how recovering Ermolaev sent out a statement saying the attack was coordinated at the highest levels of power in Ukraine.
And today, in a shocking turn of events, video released by Ukrainian authorities shows the exact moment of the bomb attack.

The Telegraph reported:
“Ukrainian officials have now shared footage of the moment the attacker drops a backpack full of explosives on the steps of the family’s apartment in Monaco.
Mr Iermolaiev is seen approaching the building with Anna Nasobina, his long-term partner, and their 13-year-old son – both of whom were also seriously injured in the explosion.
The footage, taken on a camera placed by the attacker, shows them picking up the device after it was displaced by the blast.”
Ermolaev blames Kiev regime
Ukrainska Pravda reported:
“The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has recovered deleted surveillance footage as part of its investigation into the attempted murder of businessman Vadym Yermolaiev in Monaco on 29 June.
‘A key piece of evidence that the suspects attempted to destroy has been recovered thanks to the professional work of experts from the Security Service of Ukraine. The video was recorded by a surveillance camera that the perpetrators had installed near the crime scene in advance to obtain confirmation that the assassination had been carried out. Although this piece of evidence had been deleted, SSU experts managed to recover it’.
The video shows three people walking up the stairs when an explosion occurs. After the blast, a passer-by removes the camera and runs away.”
