The Science™ is rattled

by FRED PAWLE – THE credibility of scientists has been seriously undermined by scams worth trillions of dollars.

Sadly, though, few of the scammers will ever go to jail.

Despite overwhelming evidence that the climate and COVID scares are nothing but a giant con for a select group of insiders, nobody is ever likely to go to jail for it.

Watching Anthony Fauci squirm as his precious science™ is mugged by facts™ has been one of the unexpected entertainment delights of the year so far – at least for those who prefer reality to fantasy.

While normies flock to see Tom Holland’s Spiderman metaphorically struggle with puberty for the umpteenth time, we who have more plausible taste in entertainment have instead been watching the tension and drama increase inside a small Washington congressional hearing room.

BLOCKERS

(According to Hollywood insiders, the next iteration of the Marvel franchise will be called Spiderwoman weans himself off puberty blockers.)

In Washington, Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul repeatedly asked Dr Fauci’s lawyer to stop interrupting proceedings, before finally giving up and having security evict the pest.

Replay that video in slow motion and watch Dr Fauci sink in his chair as his lawyer is escorted, leaving him to dodge questions by himself.

There’s more drama in those drooping shoulders than Tom Holland could ever extract from Spiderman’s existential angst.

That’s because Dr Fauci knows he could be next, and should that happen the stakes will be frighteningly high.

The lawyer’s mistake – continuing to talk when common sense said silence was a wiser course of action – is a miniature replication of Dr Fauci’s own monumental blunder throughout the fake COVID pandemic of 2020 – and the even faker vaccine rollout of 2021.

The potential punishment is likewise proportional.

While the lawyer can expect a slap on the wrist for disrupting Congressional formalities, Dr Fauci knows that lying about the pandemic and then using his authority to strenuously advocate for ineffective and potentially lethal vaccines – killing tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of people – should, in a just world, attract either a life sentence or the electric chair.

The only thing that can save him now is President Donald Trump squibbing the opportunity to charge the lying, narcissistic little tyrant, which sadly seems likely.

Trump’s motives to not pursue Dr Fauci are proof that nobody reaches that level of power without being captured by at least some of the shadowy elites.

SQUIRMING

But if Dr Fauci’s latest travails don’t conclude in justice being done, we can at least be grateful that his squirming has exposed one of the greatest fallacies of our post-Enlightenment times – that “The Science” is incorruptible.

If anything, science these days has about as much credibility as a chain of dodgy stores selling imported Chinese cigarettes.

Like the organised criminals flogging harmful, addictive products that have been smuggled into Australia and elsewhere to avoid billions of dollars in taxes, many scientists have formed tight-knit cabals promoting snake-oil remedies to imaginary problems that, while not avoiding taxes, are instead funded by them.

The biggest of these scams is, of course, climate change, which collectively costs the small group of nations stupid enough to fall for it about US$2,000,000,000,000 every year.

For that money, the temperature of the planet hasn’t been altered by even a millionth of a degree.

But many of the people behind the scam have become fantastically rich, not least of whom is climate change’s Fauci counterpart himself, Al Gore.

His net worth has gone from about US$2m before the release of his vanity project An Inconvenient Truth in 2006 to about US$300m today.

You don’t need the head of the International Panel on Climate Change Jim Skea to tell you that climate anxiety is overrated to know that climate change is a scam.

You just need to see the sort of hypocritical perks that the scam’s doyens demand.

If they really believed that the most extravagant human behaviour was changing the climate, they would hold their conferences via Zoom instead of in tropical five-star resorts.

The bottom is finally, and thankfully, falling out of the scam in Australia.

More than four years after federal Energy Minister Chris Bowen first offered generous incentives for opportunists to build floating windmills off the coast of Gippsland, Newcastle, Bunbury and Tasmania, no-one has so much as signed an agreement.

The birds and fish off Australia’s coastline would probably be grateful for that.

The other boondoggle to collapse is hydrogen power, which cost Australian taxpayers $52m in subsidies before the last of the scamming opportunists (including Fortescue, Origin, BP and Woodside) finally pulled out last week.

The demise of what Bowen called in 2022 the global “hydrogen revolution”, in which Australia was going to play a leading part, passed with little comment from the government.

As with the COVID delusions propagated by Dr Fauci, anybody with a skerrick of common sense could tell from the start that climate change was (and still is) an artificial crisis created to keep gullible taxpayers frightened while friends of politicians skim off lucrative fees for pretending to find solutions.

And, as with Dr Fauci, despite overwhelming evidence that the whole thing is nothing but a giant con for a select group of insiders, nobody is ever likely to go to jail for it.PC
