The Republican National Convention is about to begin. But don’t believe all the talk about Republican unity.
There is a major rift inside the GOP, and it’s about to be exposed.
On one side is Donald Trump and the America First movement that ripped control of the Republican Party away from the establishment.
On the other hand is the RINO establishment that never really surrendered. The Donor class.
They still control the money. They still control powerful institutions. And they are still working to protect their candidates and their grip on Washington.
You can see it in the attacks on America First Republicans like Ken Paxton. You can see it in Republicans who want Trump’s voters but want nothing to do with Trump’s agenda. And you can see it in an establishment desperate to reclaim the Republican Party.
They think they can wait Trump out.
They think eventually MAGA will go home, and they can take their party back.
They’re wrong.
This convention is about much more than speeches and elections.
It’s about who controls the Republican Party.
The RINOs or America First.
And the battle is just getting started.
