The midterm elections in the US prove one thing: the majority of American voters are useful idiots. The final two years of a presidency, especially when Congress is in the hands of the opposition, usually land America with a ‘lame duck’ President. If President Trump doesn’t become angry Donald duck, the West’s goose is cooked.
We keep hearing about cost-of-living crises in the West. These are self-inflicted. The West basically fried its own energy industries as part of the globalists’ agenda to create a Utopia for blue-haired, non-binary socialists.
This gave Russia and Iran the perfect opportunity to flex their energy muscles while ours were emasculated in the name of ‘kindness’. Never mind that being harmless is the worst self-defence policy. It’s exactly like the religious peaceniks in the movie Starship Troopers. Rather than eating ze bugs, they were eaten by the bugs. Timidity never wards off evil.
When President Trump went on a global tariffs rampage, he was flexing America’s muscles. Under Barack Obama and Sleepy Joe Biden, the US allowed the Taliban to prevent little girls from having an education. America’s muscles had atrophied and the rest of the world, especially Europe, was taking the piss.
The war in Iran is necessary. Now, however, the Democrats will seek to end the war just like they did in Afghanistan. The major funder of global terrorism will get off scot-free to save Westerners a few cents per litre on fuel. It will also give terrorists a leg-up.
Instead of rebuilding the West’s energy industries, we’ll turn a blind eye to terrorism so we don’t have to do any of the heavy lifting ourselves. It makes me feel sick to think we’ve sunk so low.
To top it all off, the Democrats are going to stifle data centres and AI. Concerns about the health and environmental impacts of data centres can be managed. Instead, the Democrats want to crush AI. Probably to make it Woke before it realises Woke is ridiculous – it’s artificial intelligence, but it’s not stupid.
If you don’t believe me, ask the market. Markets have an uncanny ability to judge the future of politics. Following the result of the mid-terms, AI and data centre stocks in the US are in freefall. For the country that benefited most from the industrial revolution, the Democrats are hellbent on turning America into a failed state.
Many people don’t understand the power of AI. It can do many of the mundane things we hate to do. It’s like freeing up hours with an automatic washing machine and drier but on steroids. To do that, you need data centres. To have data centres, you need energy. And not just a few windmills. Given most Westerners don’t want to do hard, boring work, you’d think they’d be jumping at the technology.
The Albanese Labor government echoes the Democrats. Indeed, Albanese ‘borrowed’ Joe Biden’s lame message on ‘shrinkflation’. At university, we would have called this plagiarism. Watch this space for an emboldened Labor government to copy more of the Democrats’ nonsense.
I suspect one reason the Democrats and Labor are so anti-data centres and nuclear energy is to protect jobs. Just like the 19th Century Luddites destroying cotton mills to save their jobs. Good luck holding back that tide. It will just happen elsewhere.
Meanwhile the anti-AI leftist parties of the West are making two short planks look like a data centre. AI is about much more than a few monkeys tapping out ones and zeroes on a tin roof. It is the key to productivity in the West. Instead of trying to wrestle back last century’s factories from the developing world, AI is where the West can shine if it has the ticker. Which brings me back to Trump.
The West has been slacking off for so long, Trump’s apparent craziness was a form of creative destruction that is necessary for the reinvention of a society. Note I used the word ‘invent’ as opposed to ‘change’. The West has ‘changed’ from an enlightened civilisation to one that is frightened of its own shadow. Reinvention implies that newer, better ways of doing things are created. Tangible things, not ridiculous things like breastfeeding men.
Speaking of men, the report by the Australian Human Rights Commission that the ‘manosphere’ is some sort of threat to our national security is utter madness. In my opinion, this organisation should be shut down before it does some real damage. Trump would never let such a thing happen.
The convergence of a religious belief, such as Islam, and an anti-democratic political movement like socialism, is a problem. In my opinion, with two of the West’s most important cities now under the control of this convergence of ideologies, and at least one individual who promotes this mix of ideas elected to the US Senate, there is much cause for alarm. Not because of their religion, but because the point has to be made about their religion and their ideology.
Never mind that Marxists thought religion was the opium that kept the masses under control. Socialism has found a new friend in Muslim politicians in the West. People may be unwittingly voting in socialism due to religious loyalty.
Unfortunately for Trump and the rest of the West, our institutions have been so hollowed out with ideas that are so absurd they should never have been inculcated in our youth through our corrupted education systems.
The future is very bleak. A lame duck Donald Trump would be like Socrates drinking the hemlock. The Democrats will no doubt try to end the war with Iran. Then our known enemy can continue to fight the war without an opponent. It won’t matter whether we have AI or not.
If there is any hope for the West, Iran must be brought to justice. Leftists won’t kill it with kindness. Only an angry Donald duck can do that.
