According to a recent Campus Reform report, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is allowing political science students to earn credit toward degree requirements by interning at Planned Parenthood.
In a crazy and offensive move to pro-life students, the University of Nevada political science department lists Planned Parenthood as an internship placement along with government offices and nonprofits.
“Students can use three internship credits to satisfy the department’s “Political Science Culminating Experience” requirement during their junior or senior year.”
Yet again, the university system is revealing its leftist bias and bias against the pro-life worldview.
“The department also lists the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN) as a possible internship placement.”
“PLAN’s coalition includes three Planned Parenthood affiliates and Reproductive Freedom for All Nevada.”
To no one’s surprise, no pro-life organizations are listed on the school’s page for internship opportunities.
“UNLV’s Boyd School of Law Health Law Program advisory board lists Samantha Fredrickson, public affairs manager for Planned Parenthood of Southern Nevada.”
Sadly, UNLV is not the place for pro-life and conservative students due to bias in favor of Planned Parenthood and the abortion lobby.
“A 2023 Planned Parenthood donor newsletter announced the formation of a Generation Action chapter at UNLV.”
“Planned Parenthood describes Generation Action as a “network of young activists” operating across more than 350 college campuses to promote “reproductive freedom.”
This anti-life, anti-conservative values bias is hardly confined to this school alone; it’s part of a disturbing trend.
“In September, Campus Reform reported that the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law lists Planned Parenthood among approved federal work-study agencies, with eligible students able to earn $19.17 per hour.”
Clearly, the universities are sending a message to pro-life and pro-family-values students and potential students that, sadly, they are not welcome unless they embrace this radical ideology.
