Environment Minister Tania Plibersek says Australia is saving the planet by banning coal. Meanwhile, her Foreign Affairs counterpart Penny Wong has proudly toured a coal-fired power station on the other side of the world – and promised $10m to keep it running.
- Plibersek is hoping to convince gullible voters that coal is evil.
- Meanwhile, Wong is handing over taxpayer millions to keep European coal-fired power running.
- Plibersek and Wong are neither saving the planet nor defending western civilisation.
Not only do these two positions clash, neither Plibersek nor Wong are even superficially aware of the facts behind their portfolio or policies.
Plibersek claimed on X this week that the previous Coalition government was “laughing about climate change” and had approved eight new coal mines.
Her government, meanwhile, had approved no new coal mines. Or so she thought.
Community Notes quickly corrected her, pointing out that Plibersek’s government had in fact approved three new coal mines – on top of the four other mines it had approved to open or expand since it came to power in May 2022.
The reason coal mining must continue in Australia is clear from this graph of the total income of the coal-mining industry in Australia from 2012-23.
All of that income generates taxes that the government needs so it can buy votes from the “graduates of useless” in a desperate attempt to remain in power. But I digress.
Plibersek was hoping to convince gullible voters that coal is evil, and that only her government has the resolve to stop digging it up before the planet is destroyed in some sort human-induced biblical apocalypse.
This is of course based on the widespread misconception that summer isn’t meant to be hot, Pacific islands are being submerged by a rising ocean and industrialisation will be the downfall of humanity.
It takes only a few minutes online to learn that all those assumptions are profoundly incorrect.
But even if this catastrophism were correct, it would still be news to Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong, who yesterday happily posed for a photo inside a coal-fired power plant in Trypilska, Ukraine, boasting that Australia was sending a lazy $10m to help keep those coal furnaces burning.
But wait! Will that $10m in aid even arrive at the Trypliska power plant? Ukraine is governed by notoriously corrupt people.
As this Ukrainian explains to freelance American reporter Nick Shirley: “Wong naively believes that the money Australian taxpayers send to Ukraine will be spent on the health and wellbeing of ordinary Ukrainians and what she vaguely calls regional security.”
The truth is slightly different, as Foundation for Freedom Online director and former State Department official Mike Benz explains. The main beneficiaries of our support for the war in Ukraine are American and European gas and arms companies.

The war in Ukraine was never about “democracy” or “freedom”, both of which are to some extent banned in that country, as Tulsi Gabbard points out.
Despite what they say on social media, Plibersek and Wong are neither saving the planet nor defending western civilisation in Ukraine.
They are instead conspicuously conforming to the same policies as the globalist puppets in other nations across the Anglosphere and elsewhere.
If only their government, under Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, had managed to bulldoze its Misinformation Bill through parliament this year, they might have been able to at least save Australian democracy by forcing us all to shut up and agree with them.
The way things are going, though, they won’t even be able to do that.
If you could gauge a government by its irony, that would be an historic and almost unmatchable achievement. Hopefully we will be celebrating this come election night in a few months.PC

Before we dive into this, it’s important to understand nitrogen and its role on Earth. The air human beings breathe is 78% nitrogen, 22% oxygen and 1% other stuff. Humans have been breathing nitrogen throughout their existence on Earth. Most nitrogen in Earth atmosphere is N2 molecules, which are mostly inert (chemically non-reactive). Nitrogen oxides, such as ammonia (NH3) and nitric oxide (NO) are the “bad” nitrogens that climate change people say will kill us all. But not having food will kill us all much quicker.
Nitrogen oxides are facts of life on Earth. Nitrous oxide (N2O), aka “laughing gas” and “whippets,” is the third-most abundant nitrogen oxide in the air, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Natural sources of N2O, including the oceans and ground soil under natural vegetation, account for 62% of all N2O. Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and nitric oxide (NO) are the two most prevalent nitrogen oxides. Most NO2 comes from tobacco smoke, stoves and heaters. The primary sources of NO are fossil fuel combustion and adding fertilizers to soil.
It’s true that the largest human contribution of nitrogen oxides is agriculture. But a 2017 study by the University of Virginia and The Organic Center found that organic farming (i.e. using manure and compost for fertilizer and no chemical pesticides) reduces new reactive nitrogen emissions by 64% versus “conventional” farming.
Yet less than 1% of U.S. farmland and only 4% of Dutch farmland is certified organic. Meanwhile giant corporations – Monsanto/BASF, DuPont/Dow, and Syngenta/ChemChina – make all those poisonous pesticides and own all seeds planted for foods via patents. These three companies control the entire global farming industry.
If nitrogen oxide emissions were genuinely a global concern, the powers-that-be (TPTB) could simply shut down the foregoing companies and invest in organic farming. But we all know genuine concern for humanity is not, never has been, and never will be a priority for these people.
Dutch farmers fighting against extinction
The World Economic Forum is promoting yet another “bug chef.” Joseph Yoon is the founder of Brooklyn Bugs in New York. He travels the country, cooks bugs, caterpillars, etc., and eats them in front of people. Yoon has been in business since 2017. But Klaus and company recently endorsed him as part of The Great Reset agenda of “you’ll eat bugs and like it.”
In order for the bug agenda to work, people must be desperately hungry and still have a will to live. TPTB not only must condition people into believing bugs are food, but also engineer global famine that will force people to comply for sheer survival.
Bill Gates is one of the chief engineers. He currently owns 242,000 acres of farmland in the United States.

Former Minister Matt Kean’s Conflict of Interest Exposed!

Corruption and conflicts of interest are rife in Government. Very few are as blatant as former Minister Matt Kean, who will be chairing the agency helping to set the price of carbon credits while getting paid by an investment company that makes money out of carbon credits!

The chair of the agency that helps set the price of carbon credits is paid a government salary as the federal adviser and regulator and will simultaneously be on the payroll of a company that makes money out of carbon credits.
In June the Albanese Labor government appointed Matt Kean as the Climate Change Authority chair. Given his track record, how can Matt Kean be considered a qualified choice? As New South Wales Treasurer, his last budget tripled their deficit and put them on track for a $160 billion debt. As energy minister he left their grid facing blackouts with the proposed shutdown of Liddell and Eraring power stations.
Matt Kean’s glaring incompetence, though, pales beside his conflict of interest.
The Climate Change Authority that Kean chairs, from which he advises the government, influences the price of carbon credits. Two months after getting the job, Matt Kean accepted a second job. The Climate Change Authority mustn’t be doing too much if the chair has time to shop himself around for other part-time jobs. When the chair is chasing other careers, do we really need a Climate Change Authority? That second job is with Wollemi Capital, who will make millions from investing in carbon credits. Matt Kean is chair of the government agency that helps set the price of carbon credits while he works for a company that will make money out of carbon credits. It seems that Australia has the best politicians that money can buy.
What does the Albanese Labor government say about this blatant conflict of interest? Nothing. Silence. The government is happy to put the fox in charge of the henhouse, and Australians will continue to pay.
The government’s appointment confirms that climate fraud is all about transferring wealth from us the people to corporations and to billionaire parasites taking solar and wind subsidies while fleecing carbon dioxide credits. Only One Nation will end the wind and solar subsidies rort, ditch the net zero plans and rorts, and fire Matt Kean.
