by SEAN BURKE – CLIMATE Minister Chris Bowen remains a rusted-on disciple of Greta Thunberg, despite the Swedish truant moving on from net-zero to support Islamic terrorists instead.
Considered Australia’s dumbest politician, Mr Bowen has firmly attached the nation’s economic future to the now-abandoned climate ideology of a child from Sweden who became famous for dodging school.
- The Swedes have now scrapped their air tax in a bid to boost an ailing economy.
- NZ is “dismantling” it’s net-zero policies “brick by brick”.
- Meanwhile, Australia carries on relentlessly.
To this day we remain under the net-zero command of Greta Thunberg, according to Sydney-based blogger Tim Blair, who is also a columnist for The Daily Telegraph newspaper.
“Even though the Nordic munchkin princess of the climate apocalypse has herself moved on – she’s now into Palestinians rather than pretend pollutants – Australia’s devotion to her cause continues,” he wrote.

“We’re stuck in Thunberg’s former ‘how dare you!’ emissions panic era. Meanwhile, everyone else is gradually getting Greta and the climate grift worked out.”
In 2018, Greta began skipping school to save the planet. She spent her school days sitting outside the Swedish Parliament – that is until class was let out.
Obligingly, Sweden’s politicians introduced a tax on air travel on her behalf.
According to reports from Britain, however, the Swedes have now scrapped their air tax in a bid to boost an ailing economy.
“The U-turn will be seen as a disaster by environmentalists, and it exposes a tension at the core of the aviation versus climate debate,” the UK Daily Telegraph said.
“When jumbo jets disappear emissions drop, but other things begin to dwindle too: regional growth, connectivity and – it appears in Sweden – public support for eco concerns.”
NZ is also “dismantling” it’s net-zero policies “brick by brick”, according to its Associate Energy Minister Shane Jones.
“We’ve reinstated a license to re-establish the coal industry in New Zealand,” he said.
“We’ve gone beyond this unicorn-kissing view that only clean green energy will keep the lights on.
“The underlying message is we’re not going to maintain a set of targets or a set of expectations that our economy cannot bear.”
Meanwhile, Australia carries on relentlessly.

Bowen is a destructive, arrogant fool but then so is albo. Most of them are.
Zali Steggall and albo both stridently opposed Barnaby’s effort to get rid of Net Zero because they believe global boiling is real. Steggall is a nitwit but albo is a true believer.
There is no evidence to support global boiling and overwhelming evidence against it.
Humans only emit 3% of all CO2 emissions; yet our 3% does all the damage!
The oceans are the main climate factor on this planet. The oceans are warming but CO2 radiation cannot heat the ocean: solar radiation heats them.
Zali said droughts and bushfires are getting worse.
Bushires are not made worse by climate but by fuel buildup. Australia’s biggest bushfire was in 1974/75 when 15% of Australia was burnt. It was a cool year. Second worse in terms of area was the 1851 Black Thursday which burnt 25-30% of Victoria. Per capita for deaths the 1939 Black Friday fire which killed 71 people was the worst. In the 2009 Black Saturday fire the most people died with 171 killed with lack of back burning playing a major rule.
No trend in bush fires!
In 2020 under questioning from Matt Canavan CSIRO admitted there was no connection between global boiling and bushfires!
The worst drought since the white fellahs came was the Federation Drought which was basically from 1890 – 1910 (officially 1895 – 1904).
Before the white fellahs according to the Eastern Australia and New Drought Atlas at NOAA the worst drought was from 1500 – 1522 where no rain fell over the whole of the East Coast of Australia. It must have been all those aboriginal coal power plants!
Global boiling is a mental illness which has affected most of our msm and politicians.
