A federal prison holding the controversial brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate alongside ICE detainees has been exposed for having jail conditions that are worse than those in some third-world countries. And they are being treated worse than the illegals.

The Telegraph exclusively reported on Tuesday that the Tates, who are awaiting extradition to the United Kingdom on charges including r*pe and sexual assault, are currently being detained in the Federal Detention Center in Miami.

The squalid conditions of this facility are quite shocking, including the fact that cockroaches are not only all over the concrete floors, but also in the inmates’ food.

There are also stopped-up toilets, overcrowding, and a complete lack of air conditioning. One damning report even alleges that the inmates are regularly subject to abuse by the guards.

From The Telegraph:

Inside the Federal Detention Center in Miami, cockroaches reportedly scuttle across the concrete floors as inmates drip with sweat in tiny rooms with no air conditioning in the oppressive Florida heat.

“This horrible stench of p–s seeps out from under the doors, because there’s p–s, there’s s—t inside, and the toilets are still left like that,” Marlon Cervelo Trujillo, a detainee at FDC-Miami, told his wife in a recorded phone conversation. Another detainee said he saw cockroaches in the food supply.

Last year, a Human Rights Watch report claimed inmates at FDC Miami were forced to eat “as dogs” with their hands cuffed behind their backs, bending down to eat from chairs.

“Those detained at FDC told Human Rights Watch of incidents of extreme overcrowding, unsanitary conditions, and abusive treatment,” the report said, detailing broken toilets, verbal harassment, and “acts of humiliation, including invasive cavity searches.”

The Federal Detention Center is also the site of the deaths of two illegals arrested by immigration agents. One of these agents is still reportedly under investigation by the FBI.

The facility also houses hundreds of detained illegal aliens in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.

The guards are well aware of the facility’s reputation. One prison officer even reportedly told a group of at least 50 detainees, “Welcome to hell,” as they arrived at the facility.

Receipts submitted to the court by the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and obtained by the Telegraph reveal that the Tate brothers have been forced to subsist on ramen noodles and sweet chili Doritos to survive.

The Tate brothers’ attorney, Joseph McBride, revealed that Tristan has lost 13 pounds since being incarcerated. He also pointed out that the Tates have yet to be convicted of any crimes while they rot in the cockroach-infested h*ll.

“Andrew and Tristan Tate have been convicted of nothing, anywhere,” McBride said to the Telegraph. “They are charged with no crime in the United States. They have sat in FDC Miami since July 18 while Britain takes until September 16 to produce the papers behind the request that put them there.”

On Thursday, Andrew Tate said on X that his condition was “deteriorating” as well. He said he was moved to another cell unit in far worse condition than his past one, and worse than the ones illegal aliens and violent inmates are housed in.

Andrew Tate stated that he no longer has hot water or air conditioning and sees cockroaches racing across the ceilings and walls. He is also being subjected to extreme abuse by the guards, which he says is for personal reasons.

“The Romanians treated me better than this,” he wrote.

Andrew Tate also confirmed several of the details in the Telegraph article and added that he had witnessed inmates stabbing one another.

My situation is deteriorating.

Despite spending 61 days in the SHU, the punitive unit for inmates who attack other prisoners and guards, I have once again had my conditions downgraded.

Since the time I have come into this jail I have been forced to endure punitive housing.…
