Ashley Moody
Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien, who leads one of the nation’s oldest and largest unions with about 1.3 million members, shared a surprising endorsement in Florida’s Senate race by throwing his support behind Republican Ashley Moody.
O’Brien shared on X, “Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien here. Just voted in the State of Florida for the first time, and very proud to have cast a ballot for @SenAshleyMoody.”
“Sen. Moody has been extremely helpful working with the Teamsters to protect workers’ pensions, defend good-paying jobs, and support well-funded union apprenticeship programs.”
“The Teamsters look forward to working with Sen. Moody in her role on the Senate HELP Committee to pass the Faster Labor Contracts Act and get this critical legislation signed into law to protect American workers.”

Moody is running against Democrat Angie Nixon, who says has said that if elected, she will “lock up” her political opponent.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Nixon shared, “I want her locked up and punished in jail for what she has done. And so we are going to continue to stump on this campaign trail all across the state, from the panhandle to the Keys. And, we’re looking forward to them calling me ‘senator’ on November 3rd.”
