MP protests own govt over ‘insane’ mandates

LIBERAL MP Tanya Davies has joined protestors outside NSW Parliament criticising her own government over vaccine mandates, which have been described as “defying sanity”.

THE NSW MP for Mulgoa told assembled protesters this week that she was “dismayed” her own government had gone “a step too far”.

Perrottet needs to get a backbone and stop listening to woke Lefties … if he wants my vote at the next election, start by being a conservative leader!

“As Liberals we believe in individual freedom and individual responsibility,” she said.

“The two are intertwined.

“And I can’t quite tell you exactly how I felt when I read those words in that media release.”

The protesters, who were chanting “sack them all” and “we want freedom”, had gathered to oppose Premier Dominic Perrottet’s decision to force workers in a number of industries to submit to trial COVID-19 vaccinations.

Mandated industries included education, health, emergency services and volunteers.

“There are people like you and many, many others at home that could be working, that could be providing for their families, that could be serving our communities in schools, in hospitals, in fire stations, in paramedic offices, volunteers for the SES, as volunteers for the RFS,” Ms Davies said.

She called on Mr Perrottet to remove the mandates as “evidence is clear, having the vaccine doesn’t stop you from getting or spreading COVID”.

“End it now and let’s move on,” Ms Davies said to applauding protesters.

The event was also attended by NSW’s One Nation Leader Mark Latham who described the NSW government as “stubborn as a mule”.

SILLY

He said Mr Perrottet’s government had made many “silly decisions” without strong supporting evidence.

“So many people have been treated very badly through this process,” Mr Latham said.

“Some of this just defies belief, some of it defies logic, some of it defies sanity.”

Mr Latham said the government was running a “reign of tyranny” against teachers who had been removed from their roles for not being fully vaccinated.

He said some schools were closing early or providing substandard levels of care and education because they were understaffed.

“This has been a disaster for the young people in NSW,” he said.

One online commentator at The Daily Telegraph described the mandates as a vote changer.

BACKBONE

“Perrottet needs to get a backbone and stop listening to woke Lefties,” TJ-Ski wrote.

“People need to get back to work and provide for their families.

“These vax mandates are ludicrous now that most people are vaccinated.

“Dom, if you want my vote at the next election start by being a conservative leader!”PC

  1. Time to end all these lies now . COVID 19 was CORONA ?? Which = 666 and Ovid means sheep and 19 is code for surrender . The flu rebranded and then used as blackmail over all the world . How can a man of faith still fall for the Scam Demic ???? Hazzard should be sacked along with CHANT and Tanya should be either Health Minister or even Premier ??? Right Chris Minns is just sitting back watching (and he agrees with sacking teachers and nurses ) for not taking the jab ! These politicians are on the take as why would you for two years cripple your own economy and state and nations and still after the massive failure of a Vaccine ( the real virus) would you not allow Ivermectin and look like a real saviour of the people ???

  2. Where is the saviour, Perrottet? Where is the “Open it up guy”?

Hiding in the toilets with his fingers in his ears shouting lalalalalalalala very loudly? Where ever he is he is certainly NOT any where fighting for the rights, freedoms and liberties of the people. Typical nobody! He talks the talk then trips over his clown shoes!

  3. The pissants that the Liberal factions have forced upon the people of NSW haven’t a clue about the party’s traditions and values. They are first and foremost political animals playing games at the expense of the communities they are paid to represent. If things don’t improve quick-smart, being out of a job could be the least of their problems.
