Black WNBA Player Clotheslines Sophie Cunningham – Gets Kicked Out – Claims “White Privilege”

Indiana Fever player Sophie Cunningham had a breakaway layup in today’s game and put it in, but was clotheslined by a Chicago player in the process. Cunningham nearly had her head taken off on the play. The play looked very dangerous. Cunningham was’s lucky she didn’t have severe injuries after the play.

Cunningham got up and went after Dijonai Carrington, from Chicago, but was held back by a teammate.

After she was removed from the game for the foul, Carrington tweeted “White Privilege” apparently from the locker room.

Carrington nearly took Clark’s eye out in Clark’s rookie season with her long fingernail.
