On March 3rd, 2025, during his 9 PM Eastern Time episode, Newsmax host Greg Kelly engaged in a pivotal interview with President Donald Trump. In this conversation, Greg posed a poignant question: Had the President considered the sacrifices made by many participants of January 6th over the past four years?
President Trump affirmed this, acknowledging that numerous politicians had raised the issue, viewing us as patriots who acted with peaceful intentions amidst the tribulations of America’s fractured system.
At CPAC, President Trump honored the January 6th participants with a heartfelt shout-out. Despite encountering obstacles, we remained resolute, and with the support of Steve Bannon, we were reinstated.
It is my earnest hope to petition Congress, or even President Trump himself, to illuminate our sacrifices and the injustices we have endured.
Many of us traveled to Washington, D.C., motivated by the oppressive lockdowns imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Statistically, seven out of ten January 6th participants were small business owners—the very backbone of our communities—who had already suffered significant losses prior to that fateful day.
What many may not recognize is that we were prepared to give our lives for the greater good of America, losing not just our time but, in some cases, our entire futures.

As COVID-19 upended our lives, the FBI began raiding our homes, leaving extensive damage in their wake. In my own situation, the damage amounted to nearly $14,000, compounded by further destruction to my vehicle.
Our savings dwindled, primarily due to the fallout from the pandemic, while large corporations thrived. The 1,500 January 6th participants became the target of an unprecedented attack, draining our financial resources as we grappled with mounting legal fees. Many of us lost our homes, and our families faced immense hardships.
It is vital for President Trump to understand that those of us who stood trial refused to accept plea deals that would have required us to falsely implicate him. The Department of Justice seized public donations intended for our support, yet we persevered with unwavering hope.
Many of us endured brutal treatment; as President Trump highlighted in 2022, I suffered horrific violence, enduring severe abuse and mental torture for nearly four years.
We are not alone in our suffering; there are 1,500 of us who remain steadfast. While a small number chose to cooperate with authorities, the majority stood firm in our loyalty to President Trump. We have been marginalized and publicly demonized, yet we continue to support him. The media has portrayed us as public figures, allowing them to tarnish our names without consequence.
President Trump should be aware that many of us carry lifelong physical injuries and are struggling to rebuild our lives. The media narrative has sought to divide us, but we are united in our commitment to American values. Politicians like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Troy Nehls, and General Flynn have voiced the need for compensation for the sacrifices we made.

If the left can sue for damages from police while protesting, why can’t we receive compensation for standing up for America? Our sacrifices were far greater, and this investment would help create a stronger economy, as we are patriots present in all 50 states.
As we strive to rebuild, we face daunting challenges. Many of us rely on public fundraising for medical expenses and are denied state healthcare and benefits we rightfully earned. We call on the American public to rally behind us and support President Trump in providing the aid we urgently need to start anew. Our goal is to establish our own businesses and contribute positively to the American economy.
Our Founding Fathers sacrificed their fortunes, lives, and sacred honor for this nation’s ideals, and we have done the same. Yet many of us are left with little more than each other.
I personally fear for my future; I have lost my vehicle and cannot drive for ride-sharing services, sharing cramped living spaces while my medical bills remain unpaid.
We implore President Trump to recognize our sacrifices and consider direct support for each of us. We request tax-free assistance, ensuring the funds reach us directly rather than through organizations. We have given our all, and we will never regain the four years we lost.
President Trump, you are our beacon of hope. Please remember those who stood by you when the world turned against you, and help us reclaim our lives.
