Pro-China MP’s loathing of whites & Jews

THE suspended Labor MP currently under ASIO investigation has described white Australians as “obsolete scum”, banned Jews from public meetings and encouraged the overthrow of Western society.

Lebanese-born NSW politician Shaoquett Moselmane, who had his offices, car and home raided by Australia’s top spy agency on Friday, is being investigated for close links to the Chinese Communist Party.

A political staffer employed by his office is also under investigation.

The former Rockdale mayor, who was appointed to the NSW upper house by Labor factions in 2009, has admitted in parliamentary documents to taking gifts from communist linked organisations.

NSW’s first Muslim MP, Moselmane has made no secret of his affection for China and his disdain for Australians and Western culture in general. He arrived in Australia in 1977 – with 10 siblings – to escape civil war.

In a 2020 opinion piece for East China Normal University press he writes in response to Australia’s concerns of a Wuhan virus cover-up: “The obsolete scum of white Australia is once again flooding, and the theory of yellow fever has once again surfaced”.

In what appears to be a call for a communist overthrow of Western society he wrote in 2018: “The only way for China to reach its potential is for China to force a change to the rules and create a new world order.

“China cannot continue to rise the way that it has within a West-designed world order, in a Western-designed global financial system and in a West-controlled international legal trade structure dominated and controlled by Western powers.”

His praise for Chinese President Xi Jinping’s handling of the Wuhan virus was absolute – “phenomenal and breathtaking” – while describing Australia’s efforts as “slow, baffling and confused”.

It is reported Moselmane has visited China nine times since entering Parliament.

Former Labor MP Michael Danby, who served as chair of the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs & Defence, said Moselmane had targetted the Jewish community.

“I have recently spoken to the leading Jewish community official in NSW who had been excluded from a public multi-cultural meeting by this bloke,” Mr Danby said.

“He was physically barred at the door. It was a public ALP forum.

“This is what happens if you don’t act against people who do such outrageous things … since this gang has been in office.”

Mr Danby called for Federal intervention into the NSW Labor Party – pointing also to disgraced former ALP Senator Sam Dastyari’s communist ties. Dastyari was accused of tipping off Chinese “associates” who were under ASIO surveillance.

One of Moselmane’s political staffers John Zhang, who completed a communist-run propaganda course in 2013, also had his offices raided on Friday.

Former Rudd government minister Stephen Conroy described Mr Moselmane as an “absolute disgrace to the Labor Party” and said it was “astonishing he’s still in Parliament”.PC
