Texas Built it… We Invited Democrats to Come and Take it… They Did!

Texas became the economic powerhouse of America by doing everything California refused to do. Low taxes. Fewer regulations. Energy independence. Freedom to build, invest, and prosper.

And it worked. Tesla, Oracle, Chevron, Caterpillar, Charles Schwab and dozens of other corporate giants came running.

Texas recruited its own political destruction… just like Colorado did a decade earlier.

The very economic success that made Texas a magnet for American business also brought hundreds of thousands of new residents. And now the Republican strongholds of Collin, Denton, and Tarrant counties have fallen to Democrats.

Look at these staggering numbers from those three counties:

Population increased 13.5% from 2020 to 2025.

Republican gubernatorial votes increased just 5.2% from 2022 to 2026.

Democratic gubernatorial votes skyrocketed 46.6% over those same election cycles!

Think about that. Republican votes barely budged while Democrats added nearly 269,000 votes in just three counties!

Texas’s aggressive corporate recruitment helped create the very political shift we’re witnessing. We rolled out the red carpet for California corporations, their executives, and their technology workers. Many brought their families, their money, and sadly, their political beliefs.

I believe Texas underestimated the political consequences of its own economic success. The huge contribution of these newcomers made to the Democratic vote surge is clear. And it’s seen in the very counties where these big companies put up shop.

Here’s the ultimate irony: Democrats will inherit the economic powerhouse Republicans built, only to dismantle the very policies that made it successful. Texas will be destroyed.
