We-the-people have lost much. The establishment? Not so much.

It was, and is, a crisis created by ruling classes. All that might have been predicted by those with eyes wide open has come to pass, since we were all nudged into position by the Deep State over many years prior to the big outbreak.

FEARFUL

Who makes up Team COVID?

Politicians have proven fearful, venal and clueless. Found what they thought was their silver bullet (the vaccine), and chaperoned it relentlessly, despite its patent (pun intended) failures.

The public health bureaucracy, chock full of dullards and chancers who finally got their big break in life, have provided a protection racket for their political “masters”. They have run the show, shunning all relevant medical science in so doing.

Big Media has proven its worth as a propaganda machine. They roll out the infomercials when paid to do so, and even also when not paid to do so.

Their strategic outlets, like the BBC and The Guardian, are owned (literally) by Bill Gates, and they behave accordingly.

Big Pharma has done what Big Pharma does. Sold us a pup and made hundreds of billions doing so.

They got governments to indemnify them, and refused to supply vaccines to those that didn’t. They managed to persuade drugs administrations to believe there were no approved, cheap and effective alternatives to the vaccines, in order to get their own products approved (for emergency use only, of course).

Big Higher Education, with its third-rate academics either directly in receipt of Big Pharma’s research dollars, and so career-enhanced, or simply in thrall of COVID ideology.

The latter offers a heady mix of safetyism, zero COVID, statism, totalitarianism, globalism and, for some at least, a soupcon of eugenics.

These careerists have long since given up on telling the truth or even believing in truth as a going concern.

They are cogs in a machine, whose progress in life is utterly path-dependent, reliant on dollars, and measured in rigged journals, media mentions and appearances on public broadcast outlets. The modellers and the medical academics have done especially well.

OPPOSED

Big Tech has wheeled out the fact-checkers, using its platform-power and control of the architecture of communication to shut down and shut out voices opposed to the narrative.

A narrative into which they wholly bought. The control of political and medical debate by platform companies during COVID is (to use a favourite term of the COVID class) unprecedented in history.

Legacy and social media companies have simply made a whole range of COVID stories disappear, as if they hadn’t happened.

And if they weren’t able to disappear them altogether, they have had them rubbished and the rubbishings promoted to the top of the search engines.

As RFK Jr reminds us, Google’s parent company owns vaccine manufacturing companies and has lucrative deals with other vaccine manufacturers. No real mystery, then. Follow the money.

Big Nudge beavers away behind the scenes, well hidden from public view, figuring out new ways to scare the people, to “incentivise” correct behaviour, to alternate carrots with sticks, and to steer us towards the State’s preferred outcomes. And shaping our very lives all the while.

Richard Thaler wrote the theory of nudge, but as Joel Dimsdale reminds us in his new book, Dark Persuasion: A History of Brainwashing from Pavlov to Social Media, it is an old science, indeed.

Big Davos has licked its lips and has nudged us all the way to next phase of the operation.

Talk about never letting a crisis go to waste. Those who planned the whole thing – getting the vaccines ready ahead of the actual virus, getting the virus released and spread, getting the very politicians and other global players they had trained in Great Reset over a generation (through the World Economic Forum’s Global Leaders Program and associated networking events) to say their lines on cue – were rewarded in spades by our collective submission to thought control.

BULLYING

The Karens all over the world were activated, like the Manchurian Candidate, to spring into bullying action.

And most of the rest of the punters in the top half of the quadrant of conformity did their bit by lining up to buy the kool-aid, then imbibing it with vigour. And urging everyone else to line up as well.

All in all, an archipelago of evil that has delivered tyranny and destroyed our world.

A minority – larger than is commonly allowed by those who throw around terms such as “conspiracy theorist” like confetti – bide our time, resisting passively where we can, seeing through the scam but, so far, mostly powerless to formulate game-changing counter-punches against the ruling class.

A ruling class firmly with boot on throat, and quite impervious to rational argument and empirical evidence in relation to COVID.

If COVID has been a scam, then Omicron is its apotheosis. A “variant of concern”, according to WHO.

In a technical brief, it said the strain could present a “very high” risk, citing its large number of mutations.

Just as there were signs of waning enthusiasm for all things COVID among the populace, and emerging pushback against the ruling narrative as seen in mass protests, ignoring the rules, dissidents in mainstream political parties finding their voice (at last) and the emergence of vigorous, crotchety new Parties (like Reclaim in the UK and several down under), as if by magic, the public health powers-that-be wheel out a brand new variant of the virus.

The meme caricaturing vaccine manufacturers and their mates in government sums it up neatly – “booster sales are running low; bring out the new variant!”

The initial messaging is critical, especially when it seems that the latest version of COVID is actually a total non-event.

REDUNDANT

No deaths anywhere (at the time of writing), no symptoms that anyone would notice, but with massive transmissibility (a very good thing), and (inevitably) making the vaccines totally redundant.

The latter is now assumed to be a given by a fair chunk of the people, but like James Thurber’s tale of the “great run” (where a whole town made a fool of itself by running away from a flood that did not exist), no one dares to speak of this out loud.

COVID optimists are even daring to hope that Omicron – it will always be the Botswana variant to me – might mean the end of the whole shebang, what with the vaccines finally proven to be useless and with virus-ending herd immunity rolling out at speed.

As US author Alex Berenson says: “Stunning data from South Africa suggest Omicron may be the end of COVID (and of COVID vaccines).”

A six-tweet thread from a South African engineer sums up the apparent state of play: “Omicron appears more contagious but far milder than earlier strains of COVID.”

South African physicians and hospitals have leaned in this direction all along. But now we have close to three weeks of data and they are saying so with increasing certainty.

The lag from symptoms to severe disease is about a week. If large numbers of patients were going to progress to hospitalisation or intensive care, they almost surely would have done so by now.

Perhaps one more week and we will know for sure, but at this point it would be a stunning reversal if Omicron were nearly as dangerous as earlier strains.

And the Omicron’s mildness is not because South Africa is highly vaccinated; only about one in four South Africans is fully vaccinated.

The COVID class will not want this version of Omicron to take hold.

Pfizer and Pfriends are just warming up, after all. What with the booster rollout the next big thing, and punitive pan-European vaccine mandates.

UNCHALLENGED

When the vaccines don’t work, go get your booster! This non sequitur is forever unchallenged by anyone within the cult-bubble, and so the COVID caravan is allowed forever to proceed, more or less totally unencumbered.

With Omicron proving to be a dud threat, Big COVID will have to be on its best game to keep the fear and the hysteria going across the globe.

Do not write them off yet. The palpable illogic of the whole situation hasn’t worked so far in ending the nightmare.

The big guns must be wheeled out to keep the theatre going.

Here is the best friend of Big Pharma and President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on the current state of play:

URSULA Von der Leyen is gearing up to announce emergency measures aiming to tackle the spread of the new Omicron variant of COVID-19 across EU member States.

It is time for the European Union “to think about” making COVID vaccines mandatory across the entire bloc, Ursula von der Leyen has said as the continent battles a winter wave of virus amid fears about the Omicron variant.

Not a time to relent, then, with the arrival of Omicron. Rather, she thinks it is time to lock up the unvaccinated right across Europe, like Austria is doing. And Germany is likely to be next. Von der Leyen’s home country is following Hitler’s.

Von der Leyen and her cosy buddy, Prince Albert of Pfizer, rigged the vaccine rollout for the European Union via text message.

Oh, and she has a husband who is medical director of an American biotech company with global reach (Orgenesis) involved in vaccines and gene therapy. You could not make this up.

BUFFOON

Then there is Boris, the COVID Buffoon’s COVID Buffoon, with his premiership increasingly under serious scrutiny.

Omicron has led to the hugely unpopular Plan B for Britain – more lockdowns, more masks, more restrictions, and a “national conversation” on the reviled vaccine mandates.

Omicron is spreading faster than any other coronavirus variant seen so far, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Wednesday as he urged people to get booster vaccines.

“We now have, in the Omicron variant, a variant that is spreading much faster than any variant that we’ve seen before and that is what we need… to focus on,” Johnson told lawmakers.

“That is why I ask everybody to go and get their booster jab as soon as they’re called forward.”

In other words, focus on the transmissibility and ignore the new strain’s total lack of harmful medical impact.

A clever feint by the political class. And the scare is still there, with fresh modelling trotted out to create equally fresh hysteria.

Gove’s push for Plan C comes after scientists advising the British Government said tougher COVID restrictions may be needed to prevent Omicron causing upwards of 75,000 deaths.

More hospitalisations than last winter! Gasp. Flatten the curve!

The re-introduction of lockdown-style measures, similar to those endured last winter and spring, would mean Britain was “better able to mitigate this wave”, said Dr Nick Davies, of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Action stations. Team COVID has stirred. On the potentially good news from South Africa on Omicron’s mildness Dr Davies said such data was largely “anecdotal”.

Of course, he did. Nicola Sturgeon warns of a “tsunami of infections” north of the Tweed. South of the Tweed, Boris talks “tidal wave”. There is a theme emerging here.

Omicron will now be on every news bulletin across the world, courtesy of the slick Reuters propaganda machine. Double down on vaccines.

“Overreaction”, says Steve Baker. Overreaction is what the COVID class does.

The arrival of a new variant in the northern winter is a perfect happenstance. Almost planned, those of a sceptical bent might be tempted to think. A fresh con. Santa has come early for the elites, with Omicron stuffed in his sack.

Uncharacteristically for Australia, the tyranny’s tyranny, the response to Omicron has been fairly relaxed to date.

Despite this liberalism, helped by Australia being in the middle of summer, we had the world’s global leader in COVID fascism, Daniel Andrews, claiming: “There’s no evidence that vaccinations are compromised by this variant; in fact, quite the contrary in terms of early evidence.”

WAGONS

Unbelievable. Never, ever argue against the vaccine, and never admit even one single breakthrough case. We must forever circle the vaccine wagons, come what may. The man’s head is clearly located somewhere other than atop his body.

Meanwhile, in the USA, Anthony Fauci, credibly accused by Senator Rand Paul of actively funding the Wuhan “gain of function” research that created the original virus, weighed in with inevitable caution in the face of potential Omicron optimism:

But we have really got to be careful before we make any determinations that [Omicron] is less severe or it really doesn’t cause any severe illness comparable to Delta.

You can almost hear the political class cheering on the new variant.

Berenson understands the game now on, and the panic among the gauleiters of COVID: “What has not yet been said – and will surely not be by the media – is that assuming this data holds, Omicron’s emergence should end any and all vaccination efforts with the mRNA or DNA/AAV vaccines.
