President Trump holds first post-inauguration rally in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 25, 2025
President Trump will deliver remarks on the economy this afternoon in Las Vegas, Nevada, ahead of the Midterm elections.
This comes after Trump’s visit to Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, where he spoke at a Republican National Committee fundraising event.
Trump is expected to tout his middle-class tax cuts, no tax on tips, and no tax on overtime policies during the event today at Red Rock Casino.
It can be recalled that Trump held the first rally of his second term in January 2025 just days after his inauguration.
During his speech last year, Trump announced his plans to make good on the campaign promise, and the crowd went wild. Congress later passed the tax cuts as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill.
He further teased the potential complete elimination of income taxes for working-class Americans.
Trump spoke again in Las Vegas in April 2026, where he again highlighted the accomplishment of securing no tax on tips for service workers in Vegas.
“President Trump will visit Las Vegas to highlight how his Working Families Tax Cuts are delivering real results for American workers. By passing no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, and no tax on overtime, President Trump and Republicans guaranteed Americans receive bigger paychecks and keep more of their hard-earned money,” Assistant White House Press Secretary Liz Houston said in a statement.
The President will remind Nevadans that every single Democrat opposed these commonsense reforms and fought to massively raise taxes on working families.”
The President is scheduled to begin speaking at 4:30 pm ET.
