Pro-republicans label Australia totalitarian State

PRO-REPUBLIC activists have compared living in Australia to life as a second-class citizen in a down-trodden and totalitarian State.

Their latest on-line campaign compares the freedom-loving nation to a socialist regime wracked by servitude, exclusion and disadvantage.

In a tweet described as “pitiful”, the Australian Republican Movement published an image of a red crown with the words “birth right”, “exclusion”, “privilege” and “servitude”.

LOWBROW

Lowbrow.

It’s the latest in a list of lowbrow ARM campaigns maliciously pushing a theme of a class-divided Australian society.

National Chair of the Australian Monarchist League Philip Benwell said the Australian Republican Movement’s message was deceitful and pitiful.

“If that’s the way they view one of the most successful constitutions in the world, then we can only have pity for them,” Mr Benwell said.

“All Australians are privileged to live in a country where the freedoms of the individual are protected not just by the Constitution but also by the Crown, which politicians can neither interfere with nor influence.

SERVITUDE

“You really must feel sorry for those people who believe they are in a position of servitude in Australia – a country where the Crown had never allowed slavery.

“These individuals should go and visit some of the republics whose systems they yearn for and see what servitude amongst the people really is.”

Mr Benwell said that the only person who actually was in servitude was Her Majesty herself.

“From the age of 13, she has given up her entire life to serve the people.

“This campaign is insulting to those who have built up this country, including brave Australians who fought and died in several wars for the principle of freedom.”PC

  1. Every time the lowbrow ARM take aim at our truly wonderful Queen, they display their ignorance, their lack of respect for our history and their laziness.

Why don’t they save their breath for criticising our Nanny Premiers who still refuse to allow such a huge number to return to work, who are doing irreparable harm to our Nation’s economy and who are unconstitutionally keeping their borders shut!

It’s high time the P.M. ‘punished’ these recalcitrant Premiers by say, cutting their future ‘allowances’ for every day past June First that they refuse to allow all businesses and schools to open up completely!

    1. “Mirror Mirror on the wall, who can keep their borders closed longer for all”?

The state premiers need to start talking to their business owners and workers rather than the “mirror on the wall”!!!!
