Far left Democrat Abdul El-Sayed of Michigan is apparently worried that his streamer buddy Hasan Piker is costing him votes with his radical rhetoric.
A new report indicates that El-Sayed called Piker and asked him to keep his mouth shut from now until after the election.
It’s probably too late for that to make any difference. The damage has been done. People know who Piker is and they know that he and El-Sayed are friends.

El-Sayed Called Hasan Piker To Say His Rhetoric Is Hurting Campaign, Report Says
Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed reportedly told controversial left-wing Twitch streamer Hasan Piker his inflammatory rhetoric about Jewish people and Israel needs to stop, CNN reported, as El-Sayed has faced calls from within his own party to distance himself from Piker…
El-Sayed is also a critic of Israel and has described its military action in Gaza as “genocide.” At the same time, he has tried to smooth the waters with the Jewish community. He apologized in August to the Michigan Jewish Democratic Caucus for remarks he made in the wake of an attack on a synagogue in suburban Detroit, when he said, “hurt people hurt people,” referring to the attacker, whose family member was allegedly killed in an Israeli air strike in Lebanon. He told the caucus he hoped to “earn your trust,” the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported…
Piker faced significant backlash from Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Mich., and Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., in the wake of his August comments about Israel and antisemitic violence.
Does El-Sayed think people are going to forget how close they are? Not likely.
They campaign together. They stream together. They want to destroy America together.

Oh, so he has the “streamer from California’s” number. Of course he does—he called him up & invited him to campaign in Michigan five times. And notice the problem isn’t the vile, anti-America, pro-terrorism rhetoric itself. It’s far worse than that: It’s costing Adbul votes! https://t.co/wYZblCM4jc

Piker has become a toxic figure in politics.
El-Sayed is right to be concerned about how his association with him looks to voters.
