A 90-year-old astrophysics professor was forcefully shoved off a subway in New York City by a thug, leaving him in need of a hip replacement and broken bones.

Dr. C.G. Wang is still in the hospital recovering weeks after he was shoved off a southbound F-train by a mean thug he respectfully asked to move so he could get off the train.

Dr. Wang had stated, “and he stepped aside. The door opened. I was pushed so hard I flew out of the train.”

According to the police, he was in stable condition when he was transported to NYU Langone Tisch Hospital. Authorities were also asking for help to find the suspect.

The suspect fled the scene. The NYPD released a surveillance photo of the suspect. He is said to be about 40 to 50 years old. He is a black man wearing a black jacket, a black baseball cap and is a medium build.

Dr. Wang explained that the train was somewhat empty when he asked the man to move out of the doorway. The incident occurred on October 6th around 1PM. He had made the journey numerous times before and wanted to exit the door that was in front of the escalator.

Even with his advanced age, Dr. Wang was living independently and was commuting to an office for research on a regular basis.
