BEFORE his retirement in 2012, Greens Party leader Bob Brown was among the most dangerous orators in Australian politics. 

He was a master at making the craziest, sometimes most perilous ideas appear normal. He wove his extreme views in words that were comforting and in ways that could be digested without reeling back in horror. He was dishing out the kool-aid and too many were drinking it up not realising it was poisoned.

Brown’s communication style is diametrically opposite to Labor’s Kristina Keneally. She is more an in-your-face, Bernie Sanders-style socialist. 

His language style, however, has quickly become a trademark of the Left. Crazy ideas that could never fly are now being repackaged with words and phrases that make them palatable to the disinterested.

Words and phrases like: “love is love”, “safe schools”, “ethics classes”, “social justice”, “marriage equality”, “climate emergency”, “equality”, “diversity” etc etc. 

All of which are appear admirable to normal people. But are dangerous dog-whistles of the Left.

SOCIAL JUSTICE

Social justice has the opposite meaning of justice. The phrase is used by the Left to legitimise their extremist ideas and concepts. Their views have no basis in law, but are being forced by stealth onto decent mainstream people.

 “This is a social justice issue!” the Left breathlessly exclaims. “How dare you even question this! Get thee behind me …”

In the real world, however, social justice is undefined. And often just refers to a pet project of the lunatic class. Gender quotas as well as extreme and uncosted climate action are examples.

SAFE SCHOOLS

The Safe Schools program has nothing to do with playground safety. Conceived by a self-proclaimed communist working deep within Victoria’s tertiary education sector, it instead has everything to do with gender fluidity.

It’s a tool used to indoctrinate pre-pubescent children into the Left’s weird world of gender politics. Young children, who’d normally be thinking about Tonka trucks and sandpits, are being forcibly schooled on the virtues of penis tucking and sodomy.

And the Left are being allowed to teach this claptrap to other people’s kids (without parental knowledge or consent) only because they’ve labelled the program in fluffy and acceptable words.

Little wonder Australia’s education ranking has tanked and private school enrolments are sky-rocketing.

MARRIAGE EQUALITY

The concept of gay marriage had no cut-through. Not even gay politicians could openly support it.

By changing its label to marriage equality, though, and tossing in a few warm and meaningless words like “love is love”, even mainstream churches are tripping over themselves to jump onboard.

CLIMATE EMERGENCY

They started with “global warming” until the planet showed no signs of warming for 20 plus years.

So they relabelled to “climate change” until the mainstream pointed out that was just another way to explain what weather had always done.

So now we have “climate emergency”. And they have whipped the school kids into a frenzy. Many of whom are convinced the world ends in 2030. What a mess these fact-free words have created.

ETHICS CLASSES

The Left has long struggled and failed to remove religious classes from schools.

More recently, however, they manage to get their ethics classes to run alongside religion at school, hoping to attract kids from otherwise disinterested families.

The problem of course is that, to the Left, ethics are as fluid as their gender. Penis-tucking and sodomy lessons to follow, no doubt.

EQUALITY & DIVERSITY

These are noble words that most reasonable people agree with and are happy to embrace. The Left, however, has changed their meanings and now uses them as cultural weapons.

While most people view equality as meaning equal opportunity, the Left, however, wants it to mean equal outcomes. So, in their eyes, no matter how smart you are and how hard you’ve worked, you and your family should be no better off than those who sit in a café all day and whinge. “Equality of outcome” was otherwise known as communism for most of the 20th Century.

Diversity, on the other hand, has also been redefined by the Left. They demand diversity of gender, skin colour and sexual preference. But aggressively reject diversity of thought and opinion – even when espoused by people of diverse gender, colour and sexuality.

HALF TRUTHS

Another effective way the Left deceives people is to mix their dishonesty with a touch of the truth. They are experts at this.

For years the Australian Labor Party justified its demonisation and shut-down of the nation’s fossil energy industry saying the world was also closing its coal-fired power plants.

“Don’t worry about your sky-rocketing power prices and the rolling black-outs,” Labor told us, “even China has closed six coal power plants this year.” China had closed power plants. It was true. What Labor failed to mention was they had closed a handful of ageing coal power plants to make way for 30+ new ones.

BIGOT

And as important as this gilded language has become to the Left, they always reserve the right to label anyone who’s not immediately won-over as a racist, sexist and bigot.PC
