A TRADITIONALLY centre-right political party knows it’s in serious trouble when its extremist MPs are kept in check by activist members of The Greens and Animal Justice Party. 

Bestiality, open borders, extreme climate activism, gender fluidity and late term abortion are just a few of the pet causes being promoted by so-called conservative members of parliament. The very same people who supposedly represent the decent values of Australia’s Liberal and National Party heartland.

And these so-called “conservative” Party MPs aren’t consigned to the fringes of the Liberal Party parliamentary wing. They are often senior people who have foxed their way into cabinet and other leadership roles.

Thank goodness leftist Party MPs are now stepping in and tempering some of their extremism. 

Rather than “out” them, Politicom will let their own words and actions do the talking. Enabling you to decide whether or not they represent your values and are worthy of unquestioning support at the ballot box.

NATALIE WARD

ON BESTIALITY: The following parliamentary statement by Natalie Ward was made after she was forced by The Greens and Animal Justice Party to backdown on a bill aimed at watering down the offence of bestiality in NSW.

“I thank honourable members for their contributions on the issue of bestiality. Greens MP David Shoebridge gave the Liberal MP a lesson on morality: “We did not support the watering down of this one well established law which not only serves a moral purpose but also a protective purpose—to protect animals from abuse and misuse.”

ON LATE TERM ABORTION: Prior to attempting to water down bestiality laws, the same NSW MP was supporting the legalisation of late term abortion.

ADRIAN PICCOLI

ON GENDER FLUIDITY: “Education Minister Adrian Piccoli continues to defend the ‘Safe Schools’ sex education program, despite evidence it is not the anti-bullying program it purports to be. The former NSW Education Minister Adrian Piccolo (a National Party MP who has since resigned from Parliament, thank God) was instrumental in introducing and maintaining the inappropriately named “Safe Schools” program into NSW government schools. The program was an initiative of a self-proclaimed communist working deep within the Victorian tertiary education sector.

MATTHEW KEAN

ON CLIMATE ACTIVISM: “We cannot deny that these fires have been going on for weeks and we need to address the cause of them. At the very same time Minister Kean was busy blaming Greta’s climate emergency for the NSW fires, his department was effectively adding to the fuel load by cutting back staff responsible for hazard reduction burns – down 16 per cent from 264 National Parks and Wildlife rangers to 220. JAMES GRIFFIN

ON CLIMATE ACTIVISM: “James Griffin, the State Liberal MP for Manly, which sits entirely within [Tony Abbott’s former Federal electorate of] Warringah, called for the party to preselect someone who ‘at the very minimum accepts the science and supports pragmatic climate and environment policies. [EDITOR’S NOTE: It’s worth noting, Mr Griffin, that the Australian community also doesn’t want to pay the planet’s highest power prices nor to de-industrialise itself based purely on questionable computer modelling. Labor was thumped in the so-called 2019 Climate Change election for this very reason.]
