UNVACCINATED public servants have until the end of the month to comply with a NSW government vaccine mandate, or face being sacked.
In a heavy-handed warning letter, staff at the State’s Environment Protection Authority have been told to either comply or risk termination of their employment.

- Mandate threats supported by Department of Premier & Cabinet.
In a recent letter a staff member, who had been refused exemption by a “departmental panel”, was told he must submit to “both doses of COVID-19 vaccination by no later than February 28”.
“If you fail to comply with the requirements of the EPA’s Vaccination Policy, the matter will be considered under the EPA’s Code of Ethics and Conduct,” wrote the authority’s acting CEO Jacqueleine Moore.
TERMINATION
“This may result in the termination of your employment,” Ms Moore threatened.
The exemption panel, the letter states, comprises the agency’s acting Executive Director of Legal & Corporate as well as the staff member’s own divisional Executive Director, the EPA’s Capability & Talent team and Health & Wellbeing team.
The staff member was told he would need to submit his personal health records to prove “genuine medical reasons” if he wished to appeal the panel’s decision.
Such threats are supported by Premier Dominic Perrottet’s Department of Premier & Cabinet.
In response to another employee’s enquiry regarding vaccination requirements, the Premier’s Department’s acting Executive Director Anna Kulesz wrote that NSW was transitioning to “a new COVID-19 normal”.
This second letter, written on behalf of Minister for Employee Relations Damien Tudehope, confirmed “many NSW government agencies have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirement in place”.
LAWFUL
“Agencies have performed risk assessments to determine whether the mandatory vaccination is lawful and reasonable,” Ms Kulesz wrote.
“Agencies have also conducted consultations with their staff and relevant unions prior to introducing the vaccine mandate.”
One single mother, who is concerned about being injected with a “trial” vaccine, said she was being pushed out of her job.
“I have a young family to support and they’re threatening my ability to provide for them,” she said.
“Even those of us who work remotely or from home – and aren’t in contact with colleagues or the public – are being forced to comply.
“I’ve built-up some severance pay entitlements as a buffer, but there are now concerns circulating that unvaccinated staff will not be eligible for this.”PC
Thanks for this story Sean. It takes a fair bit after two years to shock me, given it is all but impossible for these vile people to jump the shark. But this story did. Ringing in all our ears are the September words of the then Treasurer, who claimed he could not abide a two tier society. Well, give him the ScoMo prize for “on my watch” cynicism and duplicity. They will now say literally anything, and do literally anything. Now we are moving into the phase of resistance against the resistance. The Justin Trudeau playbook. The beatings will continue until morale improves.
I suppose this is one way of cutting the number of public servants, and not having to pay redundancy money.
Staff shortages from 28/2, our illustrious Pollies & bureaucrats instigating havoc again with knee jerk reaction. What has EPA got to do with Covid? They don’t even know what the climate is doing. Absolute disgrace.

Surely this a breach of the employment contract that the employees signed upon commencement of employment and changing the rules is against the law . Amazing how the politicians are exempt from these coerced Jabs?!

Most people in NSW are of the firm opinion that if half of NSW public servants were removed no one would notice any appreciable decline in government services.
To refuse vaccination is to demonstrate a lack of community spirit in the least.

Damien Tudehope is a well known Christian. He’s better than this government over-reach.
Like the happy clapper pretending to be PM, and more than half of his cabinet, doing God’s work? Like Perrottet coming in on a wave of ‘a good Catholic boy, he’ll do right by us’ and who immediately didn’t do right by us. Stop using their invisible friend as a shield against criticism. None of them have done the right thing, they are all hypocrites. And if they are carrying out their orders against their conscience, then they are even worse.
The termination and job loss of the intelligentsia within the NSW Public Service for not taking vaccines, is equal to Pol Pot’s extermination of educated Cambodians.
We are seeing the same pattern of tyrannical governments removing staff that actually have real health concerns about these jabs.
Even SCOMO has admitted the jabs are not effective for stoping transmission of Omicron. BUT THE LONG MARCH INTO OUR PUBLIC SERVICE CONTINUES.
