DONALD TRUMP: 232. JOE BIDEN: 227. STILL IN PLAY: 79.
WITH recounts being called in six States, the US presidential election result remains wide open.
While Joe Biden retains the upper hand at present, President Trump insists he should never be written off.
The outcome of all but six States are currently settled giving President Trump a slight five college vote lead over Democratic candidate Joe Biden. 270 or more college votes are required to declare victory.
The States that remain in play are:
MICHIGAN (16 votes): The State legislature has ordered a full audit of the November 3 vote count. The State was unofficially given to Joe Biden, however, the official winner will not be declared until a full hand re-count and audit is completed. Democratic Party officials are attempting to block a re-count, however, the constitution appears to side with the legislature.
PENNSYLVANIA (20 votes): The State legislature has ordered a full audit of the November 3 vote count. The win was unofficially handed to Joe Biden, however, the official winner will not be declared until a full hand re-count and audit is completed. Democratic Party officials are attempting to block a re-count, however, the constitution appears to side with the legislature.
GEORGIA (16 votes): The State legislature has ordered a full recount of ballots. The win was unofficially given to Joe Biden, however, the official winner will not be declared until a full hand re-count is completed. There are concerns from the Trump team that Georgia is so far refusing to perform an audit. So is effectively just recounting the same ballots, whether they are verified or not.
WISCONSIN (10 votes): The State legislature has ordered a full audit of the November 3 vote count. The win was unofficially handed to Joe Biden, however, the official winner will not be declared until a full hand re-count and audit is completed.
ARIZONA (11 votes): Due to irregularities in counting machine results the Arizona State Senate President has called for an “independent analysis” of voting data. The State was unofficially handed to Joe Biden, however, the official winner will not be declared until approved by the State legislature.
NEVADA (6 votes): The Trump campaign has launched a lawsuit claiming irregular voting – many by dead people – could have altered what is a very close result. With less than 1 per cent between the count totals – with Biden ahead in the initial count – Trump is entitled to demand a recount and is currently pursuing this.PC
Being a sensible and responsible conservative, I wonder how can read “DONALD TRUMP: 232. JOE BIDEN: 227. STILL IN PLAY: 79”, The living universe is going through an exciting phase but sadly not on these matters?
Why would Democrats hire lawyers to try to stop recounts if the Democrats did nothing wrong?
