by ROGER CROOK – AFTER what seems a decade of Labor – when in fact it’s only a few years – it should come as no surprise that our nation continues to decline.
How long will it be before the people of Australia realise that their Federal Government cannot walk and chew gum at the same time?
- Politicians are determined to make us a nation of at least two peoples with different privileges.
- They’ve opened the door for division. Religious hatred has been brought into our country in the name of multiculturalism.
- Do we need any more proof of government failure? Multiculturalism has failed.
That they are a government that shows by their behaviour, by the way they conduct themselves, that holidays are more important than affairs of State. That having a jolly good time at taxpayers’ expense is okay.
They are a government, a collection of idealogues who believe that old friends are less important than their socialist and DEI ideology.
DECAY
How long will it be before the people of Australia realise that all Anthony Albanese and the ALP are achieving is an accelerating rate of national decay and regression?
Probably for the first time since the first settlers landed at Sydney Cove in 1788, we are without a national objective.
We are jumping up and down in the long grass shouting, “Where the fuckarewe?” Nobody knows.
Nobody knows because Australia no longer has a national goal; we don’t know where we are going and we are starting to forget where we have been.
We are not reminding ourselves and being reminded by our leaders about the magnificence of what we have achieved as a nation over the past 238 years.
Instead of remembering and using those memories to spur us on, we now stand before three flags and, at every opportunity, are “Welcomed to Country”. Our own country.
Our young are losing sight of what it means, what a privilege it is to live in this country. For many, the Leftist messaging started at school and then was amplified at university.
In Australia and in many other Western nations, the educated – the intelligentsia – has replaced the blue-collar worker on the socialist Left of politics.
They’re known as post-nationals. They eschew national identity. They have no interest in pride of country.
They impose their will. They seek division and then they seek to dominate.
House prices and rents continue to increase at a greater rate than earnings, and our young become more disgruntled than ever, and who can blame them?
The median house price in my coastal regional town in WA is now $927,500 – to rent it is $640 a week.
For an apartment it is $331,500 to buy and $440 a week to rent.
It just doesn’t work for two people working in retail. What can they do?
In our little region of about 50,000, the wait list for a house among those on low to moderate income is now more than seven hundred days and it’s increasing by 25- 30 per cent a year.
The biggest cohort on that list are middle-aged single women, with few skills because many of them are the skilled mothers of the Millennials – the generation who are now suffering from the outrageous price of a modest home.
DOWN
It’s claimed by government(s) that the cost of living is going down. As the one who does all the grocery shopping just for my wife and I, I see no sign of it.
No wonder the birth rate is going down.
We are nearly at the end of the “silly season” for public holidays, just Australia Day to go.
I honour Australia Day. It is a day when we celebrate all that is good about living in what is still the best country in the world.
We have a lot to be thankful for, even though some is fast disappearing.
If you don’t want to celebrate Australia Day because you believe this is stolen land or for whatever reason, by all means work, but if you do, you forfeit the day.
Sadly our national day could be the spark to ignite the dry tinder of discontent and smouldering rebellion that lurks among the young in our community.
Our democracy and respect for our governments is fast being eroded by politicians who disrespect and ignore the decision of the people by referendum.
State and federal governments, determined to make us a nation of at least two peoples with different privileges, will open the door for bitterness and division.
Religious animosities and outright hatreds which go back many hundreds of years have now been brought into our country, all in the name of multiculturalism.
Do we need any more proof of government failure? Multiculturalism has failed.
“Je Suis Bondi” Anyone?
Our decline as a nation will continue for as long as Albanese remains in The Lodge and his Labor Party occupy the government benches in our parliament.PC
