A biological male who identifies as a woman and goes by the name “Amber Grace” told University of Utah College Republicans that “Republicans should be shot in the street” moments before tackling a student and ripping his shirt during a campus tabling event.
Rylie Barnes, president of the College Republicans chapter, captured the assault on video.
Journalist Andy Ngo identified the individual as Robert Jefferson Tulley, a Roblox game developer who works at Gamefam Studios in Salt Lake City on children’s gaming projects.
Ngo investigates: I’ve been able to find out the real identity of the trans violent extremist accused of attacking a @uofutah conservative student after wishing for mass deadly violence.

The confrontation took place near the Marriott Library, where the College Republicans had set up a whiteboard reading “There are only two genders” and inviting students to vote yes or no.
According to the group, Tulley approached the table, wiped the board clean by hand, and later returned after it was redrawn.
When a member asked whether he believed in free speech, Tulley laughed and replied, “No, I think Republicans should be shot in the street, personally.”
Tulley then demanded the video be deleted, and when refused, he lunged, tackled the student to the ground, and tore his sweatshirt and shirt.
Bystanders broke it up.

Tulley attempted to apologize before fleeing when police were called. He was later identified and cited.
University of Utah police have reportedly issued two Class B misdemeanor citations against Tulley for assault and property damage.
Tulley told KUTV he believes the charges are “bogus” and that he is “a victim of transphobic aggression” because the university “protects the College Republicans and enables them to bully students.”
“I believe I am a victim of transphobic aggression,” said Tulley, “and because the University protects the College Republicans and enables them to bully students, I was cited with these bogus charges.”
Leftist groups, including the Utah Anti-War Committee, the University of Utah Queer Student Union, and others, issued statements claiming the College Republicans started the harassment, that speaking against “transphobia” is not a crime, and demanding that Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill refuse the charges.
They also called on the university president to ban the College Republicans from campus, according to a Cougar Chronicle report.
The university said it is offering “support and resources” to both the victim and the aggressive transgender man.
A University of Utah spokesperson told The Cougar Chronicle:
“On Oct. 27 at 12:52 p.m., University of Utah Police responded to reports of a fight between two students on Marriott Plaza. While College Republicans were tabling on the plaza, another student approached the table and wiped off a whiteboard with their hand. To the side of the table, that student and one of the students tabling for the College Republicans started to argue about free speech and gender. The visiting student then assaulted the tabling student, knocking them to the ground and tearing their shirt. Police have identified the individual involved and issued two Class B misdemeanor citations—for simple assault and property damage. Support and resources have been offered to both students. The investigation is ongoing.”
Neither Roblox nor Gamefam Studios have publicly responded to the incident.
