President Trump tore into Michigan Democratic Senate Nominee Abdul El-Sayed during his rally in Port Huron, Michigan, on Sunday, highlighting his and his family’s history of supporting radical Islam and calling for additional screening if he becomes a US Senator.
“I want him to have a metal detector!” Trump said, calling him the first who would “have to go through a metal detector before he’s allowed to go into the Senate.”
“I’m here to keep a jihadist Muslim Brotherhood member from becoming a United States Senator, and that’s the fact. We’re not going to let that happen. I’m here to keep a jihadist Muslim Brotherhood member from becoming a United States Senator, and that’s the fact. We’re not going to let that happen,” Trump told the crowd in Michigan before tearing into his record.
“Abdul Mohammed El-Sayed, a man who should never be allowed inside the halls of our great, beautiful Capitol building in Washington, D.C.,” he continued, calling Republican Mike Rogers, “Apple Pie,” a nod to his American identity.
“The fake news media hates it when I say that Abdul Mohammed El-Sayed is a jihadist,” Trump added before highlighting El-Sayed and his family’s support for the designated terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.
His sister-in-law, Mariam Jukaku, was even on a federal terrorism watchlist under Obama!
As revealed by the Washington Free Beacon, old writings from his half-sister reveal that the FBI raided their mother’s home in the early 2000’s while she did work for a charity tied to al-Qaeda.
And social media posts show El-Sayed’s half-sister showing support for and aligning their family with the Muslim Brotherhood about a decade ago, despite El Sayed’s claims that his family has no ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

“Have you ever seen his writings of the past? Go back a year and take a look at the things that he wrote, his mother wrote, his sister wrote. You go take a look at the facts and don’t be foolish, people,” Trump said.
“His mother worked for an organization that gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda. His sister celebrated terrorist slaughter of innocent men, women, and babies on October 7th in Israel.”
“Sayed’s father-in-law is the leader of a front group from the Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist organization banned in eight Muslim countries because they are so sinister and severe that the Muslim countries don’t want ’em. This is the father-in-law. His sister-in-law was placed on the terror watch list and only got off it because she had a good lawyer. You know, you do that. When somebody hires a lawyer, and you’re in government, and you got enough problems, you take them off. And she shouldn’t have been taken off, and Mohammed El-Sayed, himself, signed a letter supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, urging them to quote purge the journalists and the police. In other words, let’s get the journalists. That’s bad,” Trump continued.
Trump then dropped a legendary line on El Sayed, highlighting the threat he poses to national security.
“Anyone with that record of support for jihadists would be screened and unable to get a seat on an airplane. They certainly should not give him a seat in the United States Senate,” Trump said. “He would be the only senator that will have to go through a metal detector before he’s allowed to go into the Senate.”
