Masked protesters in black bloc swarmed the Turning Point USA “Pick Up the Mic” event featuring Alex Stein at the University of Oregon on Wednesday, screaming obscenities, drowning out the microphone, and holding a disgusting sign that read “F-ck him right in the neck hole” in mockery of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Video from Frontlines TPUSA captured one protester yelling, “F-CK YOU! WE ALL F-CKING HATE YOU! THE HITLER YOUTH ARE NOT ALLOWED HERE!” as Stein arrived at the Erb Memorial Union amphitheater in Eugene.

Charlie was assassinated last year at Utah Valley University during his American Comeback Tour. “Pick Up the Mic” was launched after his death to carry on his campus debates.

Campus police made three arrests, according to a report from local station KVAL.
The event was part of the national TPUSA tour.
The organization’s founder, Charlie Kirk, was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University during his similarly styled American Comeback Tour.

Stein opened the event by saying it was “an honor to carry on Charlie Kirk’s Legacy.”
Protesters had already marched to the site chanting “IT IS RIGHT TO REBEL! FASCISM CAN BURN IN HELL!” before the event even began, with one arrest occurring before Stein even took the mic as others tried to free the detainee while calling officers fascists.
The crowd of roughly 300 to 350 attendees faced continuous shouting from a smaller group of demonstrators, including “Go to hell, you fascist scum,” “Oregon hates you,” and “You don’t get to talk, you fing Nazi.”
University officials said approximately 30 officers from the University of Oregon Police Department, Eugene Police Department, and Oregon State Police were on scene, some stationed on rooftops.
Two individuals were arrested for disorderly conduct and one for harassment after being warned to stop their behavior.
One of those arrested is a UO student, the other two are not affiliated with the university.
A UO alert stated that “the individuals were warned about their behaviors and chose to continue,” and that the university would investigate any connection to the campus for possible Student Conduct Code or employee ethics violations.
Stein continued the “Prove Me Wrong” format despite the interruptions, engaging on topics including immigration and the Second Amendment.
