by NICK BURY – NO ENRON or crypto currency rort could ever hope to lay a glove on global warming’s fraudulent infamy.
The cruelty it has occasioned to poor people – for no net environmental gain – is for the history books.
- Climate change is history’s greatest – and most expensive – scam.
- Voting punters are wising up to this giant con.
- Sanity is starting to prevail.
Ice core samples from Greenland tell us precisely what temperatures have been for the past 10,000 years – as well as the fluctuating CO2 levels that were then present in the atmosphere.
Temperatures have been both a lot hotter and a lot colder than now, unaffected by prevailing CO2 percentages.
SCAM
It follows as a nonsense that emissions affect temperatures. Yet, this has been utilised to perpetrate history’s greatest scam.
Scams tend to have short durations. One enterprising Sydneysider in the early 1800s apparently sold seats at South Head to witness the second coming of Christ through the Heads on a due date, prior to scarpering with the proceeds.
The anti-fossil fuel scam has, until now, fared much better because it’s an open-ended Ponzi scheme with no end date.
New players continue to sign-up to prey on Australian households’ hip pockets.
More recently, however, people are beginning to wise up and ask obvious questions.
A visit to a library to read historical newspapers tells us that little has changed regarding floods, bushfires and temperatures almost since settlement in 1788.
Tide measurements taken at Fort Denison since the 1800s are constant and show no rise in sea levels.
Voting punters are wising up to this giant con and sanity is starting to prevail.
PRESSURE
Ever increasing energy prices have hugely impacted household debt. They have diminished living standards and put pressure on the family unit world-wide.
People are losing their manufacturing jobs, they can’t pay their electricity bills and are they slowly being put into penury.
The Betaloo Basin in the NT has enough gas to power Australia for about 400 years and we are blessed with large reserves of coal, uranium and gas in other States.
So why shouldn’t we be prosperous!
We need overseas capital to realise our potential but successive Coalition and Labor governments have garrotted our future with red and green tape.
Wealthy countries do much, much better with their environment. Singapore is not only spotlessly clean, but has eradicated poverty.
Our wokes, like Marie Antoinette before them, may say “let us eat cake”. But how dare they and their self-righteous stupidity deprive us, our children and grandchildren of our respective futures, our prosperity and our free speech!PC
I issue a challenge to any and all climate alarmists:
Present ONE bit of evidence which unequivocally proves that human emissions of CO2 controls the climate and is making the climate worse.
I’m in furious agreement with Nick’s opinion unfortunately every nation deserves its government so here we are, ideologically driven into the ground. And all this because both sides of the politics are blindly hurtling towards Net Zero standard of living ???? ???? ???? ???? ????
Good comment Nick
The greatest producer of carbon dioxide and consumption of resources/land/wilderness is Humanity…yet the Green-Left, once so enamoured of Zero Population Growth, ignores the press of humanity on the world. A reduction of population would solve many concerns of energy usage, carbon dioxide, dwindling mining resources, water/dams, animal extinctions……Surely, with modern science and technology, Humanity can leave a lesser footprint on the planet. This would alleviate many of the environmental concerns of the Left, rather than the minimally-effective mania for electric cars, de-industrialisation and Vegan livestock!
David, I’m sorry. I don’t understand where you stand. There are few things in this world that bring us joy – children always do. I want more kids and less idiot adults. Our earth is not in peril from weather. Human insanity is the real danger.
Agree David is sounding like a fence sitters. The cc frenzy is not for niceness. It is an existential issue like few oyhets in my lifetime.
