SAME sex marriage activists have so seriously misinterpreted the public’s initial goodwill for their cause that the movement’s true agenda is now being openly questioned.
The overreach among LGBTQ activists – including open religious persecution, classroom sexualisation of infants and the destruction of female sport – has left many in the community shaking their heads.

- I’m happy to call you ‘she’ and ‘her’ and be respectful…
- But if you’re really going to make me say ‘you’re a woman’, I won’t!
- We’re going to have to talk turkey!
– US Broadcaster Megyn Kelly
From demonising and sacking Rugby champion Israel Folau (for quoting the Bible in 2019), to “Safe Schools” sexual indoctrination, to widespread acceptance of men competing in women’s sport, many social commentators have warned of a rising public backlash.
US Broadcaster Megyn Kelly, who regularly appears on Sky News Australia’s Paul Murray Live, said it was time to “explain reality” to LGBTQ activists.
REALITY
“If they’re going to make us explain why biological men don’t belong swimming against biological women, then we’re going to have to talk reality,” she said.
In regards to male-turned-female swimmer Lia Thomas, Ms Kelly said she was happy to go along with his statement that he identified with being a woman.
“I’m happy to call you ‘she’ and ‘her’ and be respectful of your life choice,” she said.
“But if you are really going to make me say ‘you’re a woman’, I won’t in this context.
“Because now you’re trying to claim there’s no connection whatsoever between you and your 20 years as a man – in a man’s body.
“And that’s not true!”
Ms Kelly said while she had been willing to overlook LGBTQ claims, the circumstances now required some truth.
“I was willing to overlook it and not mention it and not bring it up and make you feel uncomfortable,” she said.
“But now that you’re going to try to claim that you are an actual woman, that there’s no difference between you and women, then we’re going to have to talk turkey.
“You’re not a woman. There’s a difference between trans women and biological women and that’s why there’s such a fierce debate in the field of women’s athletics.
“It’s why gay and lesbian rights advocate Martina Navratilova has spoken out against it, it’s why Caitlyn Jenner – who was born a man and is now living as a woman and was an Olympic gold medal winner – has spoken out saying ‘this is not fair’.
MITIGATED
“We’re going to have to talk about reality. And the reality is that Lia Thomas is 6’3”, still looks like a man, has greater lung capacity, greater bone capacity, greater muscle capacity, larger feet, larger hands – and I could go on – that can’t be fully mitigated.
“And that is why she killed the women who swam against her.
“I’m glad she feels better, but her happiness is not the only happiness that matters.”
American academic and social commentator Dr Steve Turley, who has a YouTube following of 885,000 subscribers, also agreed LGBTQ activists had become “completely out of touch with reality”.
“Western populations are basically libertarian when it comes to most moral issues,” he said.
“The basic libertarian ethos is ‘do whatever you want as long as it doesn’t adversely affect somebody else’.
“If two guys want to get married, that’s their deal, they’re not hurting anybody else, they’re consensual – we’re good.”
Dr Turley said the transgender issue, however, had crossed a line.
“That’s because transgender causes – athletes in particular – are adversely affecting other people.
WALLS
“And the libertarian ethos is being violated by transgenderism and that’s why it is hitting so many walls.”
He said the public pushback was not because people were transphobic – “that’s silly”.
“Libertarians don’t care what you do, as long as no one else is affected – and this ethos is being radically transgressed by trans activists.”
“They have mistaken ‘acceptance’ of questionable behaviour for ‘normalising’ it.” PC
There’s a German saying which translated says ‘If you give some people a little finger, they then want the whole hand. This is happening in the transgender, same sex movement( I have forgotten all the letters of the alphabet that they are also trying to claim! So I’ll stick by these two terms) But I think people will understand my meaning – and the dilemma we now have was predictable from the beginning. It’s just that the shallow thinking “Aw isn’t it sweet” mob didn’t want to see it when this movement first muted. All the sector really needed was tolerance & acceptance and equal rights in their chosen relationships. They didn’t need the rest that is being progressed to now – and neither do we.
We probably can’t ask this question, but was the recent general election in part a commentary on same-sex marriage? Is it just a coincidence that two Liberal MPs who are married to men, Trent Zimmerman and Tim Wilson, were both defeated by heterosexual women? Zimmerman and Wilson are/were members of the Liberals ‘moderate’ faction, and should in theory have been immune to attack by the ‘moderate’ teal faction. Yet both succumbed, as of course did a number of other ‘moderate’ Libs like Sharma, Allen and Martin. But you can’t help wondering. Party strategists may be taking quiet note.
The social engineering door opened when same sex marriage was left to the politicians to write the rules.
The majority on both sides of Federal Parliament were right when they agreed to the Howard Coalition Government amendment to the Marriage Act that marriage is between a man and a women.
Other partnerships were accepted socially and by law.
