Weak politicians turn to schoolgirl for ‘leadership’

POLITICIANS are tripping over themselves to be seen supporting a poorly educated schoolgirl while Australia’s energy industry implodes.

Australia’s job-destroying power prices coupled with State-wide black-outs aren’t market failures. Instead, they are failures of weak politicians who appear to have lost their collective minds over the musings of a school-aged child.

Sweden’s enviro-guru Greta Thunberg, who gave up learning to picket her national parliament during school hours (and only school hours), has received nothing but nauseating praise from the world’s Left-leaning politicians. None more so than in Australia.

GUSHING

Such mindless gushing has contributed to the de-industrialisation of the Western hemisphere and has initiated a vicious cycle. It goes something like this.

British Labour: “Hip hip!…”

To push an ideological agenda, Leftist politicians quote doomsday scenarios from questionable computer climate modelling.

The media then picks up on this as an easy news “sensation”, with no care for accuracy nor even for truth. For them, it’s enough that someone said something.

This media sensation stirs uninformed minds and creates mass panic among children.

Then out pops Greta Thunberg – and the media has its next easy news sensation.

Media hungry politicians align themselves to Greta with the most nauseating praise and, thus, they propagate their vicious ideological cycle.

So where is Australia headed with energy policy and, by default, industry policy?

A glimpse into Greta’s mind may provide the answers – given that she’s the “expert” our Left-leaning politicians applaud.

A quick analysis of Ms Thunberg’s ponderings would suggest that, as well as suffering from Asperger syndrome, she also exhibits symptoms of a doomsayer, a revolutionary and an insolent child.

Combined with her poor education, this is a terrifying mix. The following quotes are from Greta Thunberg in the past year alone.

DOOMSAYER

“I don’t want you to be hopeful. I want you to panic. I want you to feel the fear I feel every day. I want you to act. I want you to act as you would in a crisis.”

Mark Twain.

“You say you love your children above all else and yet you are stealing their future in front of their very eyes.”

“This ongoing irresponsible behaviour will no doubt be remembered in history as one of the greatest failures of humankind.”

INSOLENT

“This is all wrong. I shouldn’t be up here. I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean, yet you all come to us young people for hope. How dare you?”

“You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words.”

“Since our leaders are behaving like children, we will have to take the responsibility they should have taken long ago.”

REVOLUTIONARY

“We cannot solve a crisis without treating it as a crisis. And if solutions within the system are so impossible to find, then maybe we should change the system itself.”

“We can’t save the world by playing by the rules, because the rules have to be changed. Everything needs to change – and it has to start today.”

“The climate crisis has already been solved. We already have all the facts and solutions. All we have to do is to wake up and change.”

“The people who have been unaware are now starting to wake up, and once we become aware we change. We can change and people are ready for change.”

UNEDUCATED

“Many of you appear concerned that we are wasting valuable lesson time, but I assure you we will go back to school the moment you start listening to science and give us a future.”

“Why should I be studying for a future that soon may be no more, when no one is doing anything to save that future?”

“If you still say that we are wasting valuable lesson time, then let me remind you our political leaders have wasted decades through denial and inaction.”

These are the kinds of words the media and our politicians are listening to.

This is the child that Left leaning politicians nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

They pitted Greta against the leader of Ethiopia – a woman named Abiy Ahmed – who had brought peace to her nation after 20 years of civil war.

“Greta has worked hard to make politicians open their eyes to the climate crisis,” Sweden’s Socialist Party politicians wrote in their Nobel nomination. “Her action for reducing our emissions and complying with the Paris Agreement is therefore also an act of making peace.”

This is twisted.

But the frightening truth is, if Abiy Ahmed had been a white male, Greta would have won the 2020 peace prize hands down.PC
